At Smokingpipes it’s 20% off.....a great deal. Smokes good fresh, but with a couple of years of aging the fruit flavor in the Virginia’s shine👍👍👌

I really enjoyed Murrays Erinmore Flake. Does anyone have experience with both to compare?

I have a tin that's been open about 6 months and I have smoked 2 bowls out of it. I think I like it, but not that much.

Charlie, I agree...fresh is good. But I’ve commented prior, with 4 plus years of aging this flake is absolutely amazing 👌👍👍. Yup, sugar crystals and what a nice fruit like taste from the aged Virginia’. Also, a BIG sleeper available in bulk is Newminster #400 Superior Navy Flake....it’s a WOW after 4 plus years of aging....and it’s fairly cheap!!!

Yeah, I bought a boatload of NM SNF back when it was too cheap to pass up, 3-4 years on it now.

Your one smart fella...😘.....lol I had a few fancy 4 .oz jars of PS LBF and I gave AJ a jar with 7 plus years on it.....he’s really enjoying it. It’s outstanding with 3 plus years of aging. Also in bulk.....Comoy’s Cask #7...it’s good fresh, but with age it’s a WOW 👌👍👍. So far every pipe smoker I’ve recommended Cask #7 in bulk has stocked up!!

There are a lot of similarities in Comoy's cask #7 and LBF as far as components go...my cellar is thin on Comoy's, heavy on LBF...it would be fun to to a blind test on the two aged...even then i don't have the palate.

Baboo is a BIG fan of Comoy’s Cask #7.....I got him hooked on the bulk version and stated it’s as good as the tinned version. JMHO.....Comoy’s Cask #7 has a better center Cavendish that tastes superb with the rest of the tobacco’s. I prefer Comoy’s #7 over PS LBF by a tad.
