Before I post I put a piece of bologna in each one of my shoes. That way I feel, funny. My pup leaves me a deposit in my shoes sometimes when she is pissed at me. Fortunately, a) it is not that often b) I don't wear shoes all that often. Let me pontificate for a second...many of us have been members or "other" forums (which shall not be named)...we left there because of the attitudes of some of the mods. also some of the members that expressed comments about others that were not warranted...and if they were warranted, not the place to express them. Got a problem, either move on to the next thread or if you are seriously touched, pm them and tell them about it. Don't blast the ignorance for all to see. The Patch is a whole lot different as has been seen by the generosity of those who participate in the dialog...generosity of feeling and donations to those who need a little help. The Patch is exemplary and as I have said before, an oasis of peace and good feelings. |

Some members nudge you gently toward the answer you're looking for and others come out and smack you upside the head and tell you you're overthinking it. I've learned a lot in the short time I've been here and appreciate the feedback and advise I've received on some of my questions.

Some members nudge you gently toward the answer you're looking for and others come out and smack you upside the head and tell you you're overthinking it. I've learned a lot in the short time I've been here and appreciate the feedback and advise I've received on some of my questions. I've probably been guilty of that, and I try not to do it now. Every pipe smoker's journey is different, and there is no need to argue about anything. If I know something about a question asked, I try to answer honestly, based on my experience. If I know nothing about it, I refrain from comment, unless it's to make fun of JimInks. |

I’ve found over the years that most of the time agreement ends with I smoke a pipe. Everyone comes at this from different positions. Many are new to the hobby and revolve through quick. Some are active in the hobby and for others this is it.  Wasn't that the ;purpose of the peace pipe? I hope I'm not being insensitive with that comment. |
