I love the responses. IF I win, I will buy every McClelland's on eBay and spread the love around the patch for those who are fans. And, as for Smokingpipes, they'll have to hire some more people for their mailing department for all the tobacco and pipes I would order. With that much money, I would be the patch's official tobacco supplier.

I purchased 5 tickets yesterday @ Lowe’s Foods for tonight’s Mega-Millions lottery. If I win every member I’ve met here on the Patch to “ THIS “ day, I’ll be sending a check for $5,000 to help spread the joy with👍👍👍👍👍. That’s those members where I’ve pressed the “ like “ tab or responded to your post/thread to this day......I need no more cyber friends applying........lol. The cutoff time is 9:25am today 10/22/2018....just so we are clear. I’m a man of my word!!!

At 1.6 billion USD you could easily afford to buy the entire pipe tobacco industry worldwide! Zambini, after paying Federal, State, and local taxes the prize is only about $650,000,000. Hardly worth the effort. |

I won the lottery. I had budgeted $20.00 to buy tickets, and I didn't, so I have $20.00 pocket change to spend on tobacco!

Charlie ordered the members of the Patch a mini-mini Cob.....holds roughly half a thimble of tobacco.....lol. Total cost was $50.10 .....if your wondering about the .10 cents....they each cost .10 cents.....🤪🤪😜😜😜😂😂😂😂

I have always thought that receiving a life changing amount of money like that, without having worked hard for it, would ruin someone. Just take them out of the game.
How do you raise your kids to work hard and be responsible, "so that you too someday can win the lottery".
Where everything you have trained for and worked hard for doesn't even pay the taxes on what you won by pure chance.
Luckily almost nobody wins.

I have always thought that receiving a life changing amount of money like that, without having worked hard for it, would ruin someone. Just take them out of the game. How do you raise your kids to work hard and be responsible, "so that you too someday can win the lottery". Where everything you have trained for and worked hard for doesn't even pay the taxes on what you won by pure chance. Luckily almost nobody wins. It seems experience shows that is, for the most part, true. Or maybe we only hear of the horror stories of folks going from normal to wealthy to trouble with big lottery wins. Johnny Carson summed it up pretty well; “The only thing money gives you is the freedom of not worrying about money.” Of course, that was also said by someone with a lot of money. I believe the most dangerous part of instant wealth is that it warps your sense of what is "enough." Sort of like a 30% off sale at the tobacco shop. |

For me, it would be nice to have just enough that I can buy a tin of tobacco and not think, 'can I really afford this?'
