Dude actually got you some Yenidje! Almost anyway, Basma and Yenidje are very similar olive oil tobaccos. The pipe turned out as nice as he described it. Not sure how he got the pic of you on it though. Told ya I went deep. When I got our fair Lady M to gift, I knew exactly what I was going to give. That little pipe was sent from Heaven to arrive on her door step. Yea! |

after the USPS played hide and seek with my package, lol, it finally got here. My sneaky second Santa struck a home run. I got a very nice tin of McClelland Oriental -- Drama Reserve -- and an absolutely gorgeous and perfectly appropriate pipe! It is a GBD and came with a sleeve. I am in love.... Thank you very much, Santa!!!  That's one purdy pipe you have there Maggie. I'd just smoke that whole tin of Dramatwist Drama Reserve through it and enjoy  Merry Christmas girl! thank you! I almost hate to open the tin  |

The mailman came by 5 min ago. Unfortunately there is some mix up with tracking number (there were 2 different tracking numbers on the package), so he couldn't release the package. I'll update next week.

SCF Dan  … That's a great visual Dan!  Well, a busy Christmas weekend ( and my wife's remark that I was looking at the Secret Santa package like Gollum), led me to open my package to find: Dunhill Ready Rubbed, Bengal Slices, Balkan Sasieni, and some wonderful samplers to include Peretti's Thanksgiving Day, and others. Thanks to my very thoughtful Secret Santa, and a wonderful holiday you all of you fine folks!

I have with a package from amazon. After a lot of phone calls I was able to pick it up from the post office.

The mailman came by 5 min ago. Unfortunately there is some mix up with tracking number (there were 2 different tracking numbers on the package), so he couldn't release the package. I'll update next week. If the mailman came by with a box that had your addy on it, it would seam reasonable that the box was addressed to you and it should have been delivered to you. And, if one of the tracking numbers started at "point A" and ended at "point B" (your address), it would further seem reasonable that the other tracking number was a mistake and/or possibly for some other package/letter, etc. Does that make sense? Just sayin  |

This was the last gift I opened today. Knowing that I would be the only one truly interested in it!😁 I not only had a Secret Santa, I had a Super Secret Santa! This gift has put me at a loss for words. Even the missus said. “You are overwhelmed by this” I’m currently smoking the meer on the left with the Potlatch. And really enjying both. This tobacco is new to me. As is the FM, Robert Lewis and the Crumble Cake. Even those in the room that had no interest. Loved the letter that was included. As we all agree. Some of the finest people are found Lunting around The Briar Patch!   |

...and that is why the Briar Patch must continue and foster these kind of folks in the membership...better than the rest, and true family. Can't beat the Patchers in anything!

So got to open my Secret Santa gift today. It was from Haebar, whose generosity was truly outstanding. Four tobaccos that I have never tried before, one from 2015. A MM cob, a pipe tool and pipe cleaners. I know what I am smoking on my trip tomorrow. Thank you Santa.  |

Charlie....aka trailboss sent me a surprise. My daughter just dropped it off. I’m opening it in the morning when my vision clears up. Both surprised and shocked. Some amazing people within the Patch for sure👍👍👍👍
