Humor can be found in many forms. The original comments in this thread were based on the author's gotcha attempt. As you may or may not know, threads of this type are not effective unless they are based on possible realities.
The focus of the second wave was to catch Legend Lover who accused qmechanics of many deplorable, though quite true, things😁 on a different thread, titled "Hey There" (concerning the reintroduction of Quaffer ). Eventually Legend Lover confessed to being "gotchaed" while the Lady Margaret joined in;both were part of the past festivities. When the Lady hit 5000 during our fun, this thread took on a new new life. There are layers here 😁..
PS It would be my guess that pepesdad1 & flybypipe were inadvertently caught in the gotcha trap. It happens to the best of us.😁

Heck, this did hit close to home.
1980, I woke up to 4 cops with guns leveled on me, saying “Don’t make any sudden movements.” My apartment was #432, their warrant was for #423..... Meth dealer.
One month later I had a “knock” at the door. Said they had a warrant for _________. I told them he was at #423. They said they’d break the door in. I told them in no uncertain terms that if my door came down my shotgun would go off. Looooong pause, then.....”Sorry, Sir.”
Then all manner of heck broke out at the next building. We moved the next day!!

One of the reasons I keep my property gate locked all the time...give the officers time to reread the warrant rather than having a nasty surprise for both of us.
