You may have seen the Old Mr Holmes in his dotage briar dream returning home. Here is the young Mr Holmes ( Sherlock Junior, Buster Keaton) before taking up the Briar. American Pool is just not snooker or billiards gentlemen (& Ladies) , you will have to watch Mr. James ( Morgan) Bond to see what happened to the happy couple . Maybe 3D , 360 degree silent movies will make a revival..  |

As far as a youthful Holmes....I prefer the 80's movie YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES, it has a nice, fun way about it. As we all know though, Jeremy Brett was the definitive Sherlock Holmes.

Thanks for the tip philobeddoe, it is available on YouTube , I feel I am familiar with that Gothic world in the Spielberg movie, but I found the Buster Keaton version honest & still contemporary in a way, cheers. |
