I’m beginning another sleepless (back pain) day with Sutliff Matured Red Virginia in a 1996 Dunhill amber root bent rhodesian with a diagonal repair band and cumberland stem. roadsdiverged - I’m enjoying this one too. Sorry that you are in pain, Wolfman. I hope your situation improves soon so you can get some sleep. Smoking some D&R Cockstrong in a Sunrise apple. haebar Thank you. I’m going to see my doctor this morning. He had given me an epidural injection about 6,weeks ago. It actually blocked the leg pain until it returned Monday. I’m wearing a backbrace. I’ve gotten some leg relief, enough to walk. So we shall seen what’s next ....

Hope you feel better soon Sam. I wish there was more your doctors can do for your pain. You should be sent to a pain management doctor ASAP. C&D Bayou Night date on jar 2011 Pipe of choice: restored ‘68 Yello-Bole Imperial pipe. Back in my rotation and one of my top FIVE smoking pipes👌👍👍 Thank you roadsdiverged. @lonecoyote this guy is a pain maintenance doctor. He’s had me on Percocet and flexoral, but neither helped. Someone suggested Gabapentin (sold under the brand name Neurontin) for the nerve pain. I may try that.

It’s definitely prescribed for nerve pain. Might help in conjunction when you take your Percocet. I now have fentanyl patches as well. Read about Gabapentin, can have some nasty side effects with some people. It’s a medication you can not suddenly stop taking, it’s one you back down dosage. It’s also one of those Meds once you stop taking might not work well if you go back on in the future. Good luck my friend.

Started it off with My Morning Pipe out of a Peterson 305 to get the day going. About to have a bowl of McClelland’s Fragrant Matured Cake, such good smoke and one of my favorites. Anyone else have any experience with this blend? I know it’s not the most popular but it’s one I’ve always gravitated towards. It’s an aromatic but mild enough for the Virginia’s to still shine.
