No need to close it...we all have our thoughts and will keep it that way...our thoughts. That is the beauty of this forum...civility.

A Deep River 4042 Chocolate Stout will suffice nicely 👌👍👍. After maybe a Southern Comfort.

pepe, hold down the ALT key and type out 0241 on the keypad, not the numbers at the top of your keyboard: ñ

This time of year with the onset of Winter and the cold, the restorative power of high proof Bourbon is most welcome.
The fictional character, Raylon Givens, once remarked "It tastes like sunshine". True enough for me.
A dark beer such as Guinness Stout, Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout or Nut Brown Ale, Newcastle Brown Ale or any number of American made Stouts and dark ales are also appreciated provided they are not chilled too much and the brewers can keep the carbonation down to a minimum.

I never would have thought it, but after deployment to S Asia I craved Cold Milk , truck was waiting on the pier and man oh man was it good.

There are hundreds of Alt Codes, and most you use rarely, if ever; you look them up. Some I have memorized, like 0176 is the degrees sign °, but I rarely need to type ñ, so I looked it up
Oh, forgot to mention, there are two different sets of Alt Codes, one works in Word and other things, the other in internet forums, or whatever. If you get one that doesn't work, search again. ♫♪

Gotta agree with this one. There is nothing better than picking up a pint of Guinness, tilting it up and taking a long pull. As an old friend used to say when he would slug down half a beer on a hot summer's day, "It's like and angel pissing on my heart!"

The only command I use regularly is CTRL+F That is a great help when looking through places like Pipedia and you are looking for a specific pipe by code or number. I like: www.barcharts.com/bisac/computers/keyboarding/

In the spirit of the very title of this thread, we've definitely forgotten about the midterms
"Yeah, well you've got a round head!"
"What are you two arguing about?"
"We're arguing over what is better: Laphroaig or Alt Codes."
" ... "
"Who's got a round head!?"
"You do!!"
