As a sidenote, my niece sent this pic of my brother in law (husband of my sis) taken as she came back into town..... a truly gifted musician that gave up a professional career in music, because he knew the realities of success in that world, led him to chose to give her a sure sense of security...this guy is about as cowboy as anyone can be...can't wait to see him. Back in the day, he opened for David Allan Coe, and jammed with Waylon at an impromptu gig....And he smokes a pipe occasionally.  |

My sister lost her battle with ALS on Monday, therefore I will not be attending the West Coast Pipe Show this year...I will be travelling to Kansas to be with family. One of the pipe club members Gary has a Suite with an extra bed, and the price is if I remember correctly about $120.00 for two nights.in the newly remodeled room.
