Welcome from the Mile High City! I remember you from SF, Tab. Sadly, it never fully recovered after the hack. Glad to have you with us!  Hey there! I remember you too. Yeah, it is sad. It was such an active community and even the sub-groups were very active. SF attracted several high end collectors, but I canāt figure out where they all went. Did they just transition to Instagram, doing their own thing? Lose interest in collecting? I really liked that it seemed to be a crossroads for the hobby. Respected pipe makers would chime in, Mike from McC, Russ, Per would add information, long-time collectors that really knew the history of certain brands were there. It seems like after the hack, everyone kind of splintered off to these other groups that might have been more to their social liking; fair enough, but weāve lost the ability to really compile and share the pipe smoking ābrain trustā. I really miss the great days of SF.uk. A lot of collectors gave up on pipe boards years ago but are on Facebook. There are probably some former SF.uk members on The Pipe Smokers Den.  |
