Hi, Here's a fun question for the group. I'm looking for 1 or 2 NEW tobaccos to try. I do have an order at SPC created, but I'd like to get your suggestion for your most favorite (non-aro) tobacco, of any genre, to include in my order. I've tried many different ones from C&D, GL Pease, Dunhill, Boswell, Orlik, Peter Stokkebye, so it may be a challenge. However, I thought it would be helpful to get your take on the one tobacco YOU think someone (me) should try out. Enjoy CW

I have really liked all the Rattray non aro’s that I have smoked, Hal O’ The Wynd, Marlin Flake etc...
I would say Peter Heinrich’s Dark Strong Flake, and his Curly Block, But I doubt they are available.

Escudo, FVF, Balkan Sasieni, Captain Black Grape. That is like wandering around into a Mrs. Sees, enjoying the smells, and stumbling into someone cutting the cheese.

Your journey is just beginning. Going in with eyes wide open will yield no more than if blindfolded. Jump in the deep end and swim among all the weeds in the sea. Bon voyage' !

Semois, if you haven't already tried it. I have not. Would you suggest La Brumeuse, Reserve du Patron or Le Petit Robin? CW I'd start with La Brumeuse as it's a friendly cut for the pipe.

I'd say grab a tin of Mac Baren HH Balkan Blend. It's a solid english. I also recommend, Capstan Flake Blue, Newminster Superior Navy Flake, and Sutliff Voodoo Queen.

Arango Balkan Supreme? Peterson Wild Atlantic?
Get the Engine 99 too. You'll be surprised, as your chest will grow 3x its size, and sprout a sheering worthy fleece.

I'm a huge fan of Frenchy's Sunzabitches from Hearth & Home. I feel like it doesn't get enough love.

I would try every Hearth & Home Marquee blend like Blackhouse, WhiteKnight, Magnum Opus,Viprati etc. I believe as a series these are some of Russ Ouellette's best blends.

Thanks to ALL of the folks who have suggested a blend!!! I'm going to go with: Semois La Brumeuse and Arango Balkan Supreme.
I'll report back! And for all I didn't choose, they're in consideration for my next wallet-emptying fit.
