Pretty FREEKING Fantastic!!!!! Whoda thunk that as a little boy laying on the floor "coloring" that some day you would get paid to do it. Very nice work Jim, you have impressed me Thanks, but I don't do color work. I draw. The pencils on this mini-series were a little too cartoony for the subject matter, so I was asked to make them more "comic book realistic". Understood

I probably should have checked Amazon first, as they carry the Archie MLJ comics for Comixology, which they own. Difference is being able to read it on a Kindle. Either way, Archie/MLJ lets you download readable copies so you can read on your independent readers. No DRM. Either way, Comixology is where I get all my Archie Digitals JimInks this is the kind of new story I can jump right into

Looks good Jim. Grabbed it on Amazon. Hope everyone involved gets the same credit as if one buys on Comixology. I didn't think to ask.

Read it over dinner. Pretty cool. Looking forward to the next issue. Also, love that crazy panel on page 10! Felt like the page came alive.

Thanks for all the kind words, folks. I'm glad you're enjoying the book. Issue #2 is being colored now, and I'm waiting for the go ahead on the third issue.

Excellent work Jim! Jim is certainly a talented artist but his real talent is finding excuses for NOT sending me two tins of Rotary tobacco. AJ Jim is certainly a talented artist but his real talent is finding excuses for NOT sending me two tins of Rotary tobacco. AJ My real talent was making sure you got the six tins you have, Masterdon breath! I'm sure there's some simple arithmetic issues that need ironing-out

I totally agree. When Jim sends me two tins of Rotary the score will look like this: AJ 7 + 2 = 9 Jim 1060 - 2 = 1058. AJ WINS Like you said just some simple arithmetic. It works for me... AJ

I finally purchased my cart at comixology. I actually have every Archie Comic now, not subtitles, but all 660+ Archie Comics issues. I doubt I will ever get every sub-issue, but this will keep me busy for a while. First will be catching up on Golden Pelican
Anyone needing a good Windows Comic reading program, let me know. I hate comicrack, but it was the only one that did tabs, meaning more than one comic open on time. I found a very versatile pro program, designed for document pros, and God bless them it's free for private use.

Archie Comics are fun comics, and the digest books are a fun diversion from the "real" world.

Didn't Veronica's father smoke a pipe back then? Mr.Lodge smoked a pipe until some time in the 1980s, when Archie decided nobody smokes in their comics. All the major companies outlawed smoking in comics.
