Aged Solani Burley flake in a '52 Dunhill Tanshell...watching Manhunters. Kinda like "cops" but it is about the US Marshall's service in NYC. Charlie, here is a short interesting video of what the US Marshall’s Service deals with on a daily basis. Many go undercover and locate fugitives abroad. Extremely challenging career overseas, especially if a Country chooses not to extradite back to the US.

Wilke #191 dated 5/2013, my favorite Burley forward aromatic
Pipe of choice: my late ‘80’s restored ( mint condition ) Grabow Freehand. A bit larger than the newer models and well aged briar.

Some St Bruno Flake in a really cheap Pete B11 sitter,
I love this shape but I’m too cheap to pay for a fancy one,

Billy Budd Blonde in a Savinelli 626 Oceano. Reading for the third time "Gone To Texas" the novel Josey Wales novel upon which the movie is based.
Forrest Carter is the author. What a great book.

My first smoke of December is C&D Golden Days of Yore in a Savinelli Saint Nicholas 2018 320 KS Author with water on the side. I'm a bit disappointed with this blend. The tin note is good tobacco, but nothing else and the smoke is good tobacco, nothing else. I wonder if they forgot to sauce this batch. It's date 07/17/2017.

Been delinquent today. Got wrapped up reading , didn't post anything. Now having a pre dinner bowl of White Knight in my Bing billiard, a glass of Amontillado Sherry goes very well with it. White knight? Do you have a fever?!? Are you implying that I must be ill to smoke other than my standards ? Well, you're probably right. I have a few tins of other stuff, so once in a while I break down and smoke 'em. But, now I'm back to Engine 99 for my final of the day.

Moving to smoking C&D Belmont Station in a MM Charles Towne Cobbler, with Assam Malty Tea at the ready.
Freezing winter night outside, mixed precipitation, downright nasty.

PS Bullseye Flake in a Peterson Kildare. Water to drink.
The big snow we are supposed to have appears to be another dud. Maybe just later than anticipated?
Rousted the cooney famiy off the porch inadvertently when I went for firewood. Sorry, fellas! They need to calm down.
