Good morning, My name is Joe, been smoking a pipe for over a year now. It's been an interesting journey from the beginning. When first interested, I remembered my aunt having an old pipe stand with jar and pipes from her granddad. I asked her about it and she offered to give me the pipe, no luck on the antique jar and stand. I then visited the famous Racine and Laramie in San Diego for my first blend. I've been exploring many styles and cuts since. This morning I'm going with some Eileen's dream in a baranccini church warden. I am also a big fan of Balkan blends as well as English and VaPers.... I'm not sure I really have a favorite type, but enjoy rotating consistently. Anyway glad to be here and hope to continue learning about pipes, and blends I need to be trying. Thanks everyone!

A warm welcome from Northern Ireland. Enjoy your time here.
I always laugh when you post that. It's the only thing that's warm in Ireland, especially this time of year. lol.
She came in with a smile and a pipe. A study of contradictions, she seemed to understand more than most. Eyes shining with humor and a comforting, easy to talk to demeanor. She was a goddess in mortal skin. She raised a glass and said, "Confusion to the memory of Newton."
Welcome Joe. SW Kansas here & PS LBF is one of my favorites. A lot to learn around here and good folks.
Thanks for the rec! I happen to have that right now from my last order. Loved the regular luxury flake and decided to try the Bullseye. Adds a nice spice to it, while still having that lovely baked goods thing going on. I look forward to all the knowledge from around the world! So glad to find this forum!
