Your'e one helluva man for what your'e doing. I watched my father do this 17 years before his death and he stayed sober till he died. You can do it, takes just one day at a time. I'll be putting positive thoughts out there for your continued success.

This and other things I have learned about my friend...he is true to himself same as he is true to his friends, and I am grateful to consider him my friend.
He is also a great Dad....and has beautiful children.

Thank you all again, and thank you for those word Walt.
Like so many others, this is the hardest part of the year for me. When I was drinking, this is when I gave it my best. Drowning out memories that are no longer realities. Last year was a rough one, my first holiday season completely sober. I'm not going to lie, it was HELL. It was so early in my sobriety that I really didnt have the "tools" I needed to "cope" with all of the issue, let alone the mindset that I have now.
This year, so far, has been a complete turn around. Although it hasnt been the best, it's been the best that I could make it. That's what I had to learn to accept about all things.
