Reading a local little gazette called La Novelle, there is a joke and humor column, also tidbits from local kids. One 11 yr old boy loves Strawberries, he would genetically cross a mosquito with a Strawberry and you could squish them and pop them in your mouth. He might have something!

I love that old Tom T Hall song.
I ran across several old "unlearned" men in my years, that may have not had a high level of education, but were wiser than so many others where the rubber hits the road, compared to those that had advanced degrees and a lot of letters to "prove" it. Not to negate the importance that can be learned in the halls of academia, but ideally one can grasp the significance of each without doing so at the expense of the other...it sometimes seems that in our culture, sadly that is where we are headed.
I hope that makes sense.
Probably why i like Victor David Hanson's writings...grew up on a farm, still lives on one and works it, but works in academia also.

Watermelon wine. Right you are. My mistake. Strawberry Wine is a different song.
