Another words.....get her a little looped....lol. Then youβll deal with the shitzzzzzzzzz. Sing to her her and sheβll fall asleep from the agonizing squeal πππππ

Waiting for the wife to come home from the lap at the hospital where she works at. Her boss is a huge asshole, scheduled her 1400 - 2230 Dec 24,25,26. Then changed it to 1200 -2030 which was an other phlebotomist's shift knowing that she was calling off. So my wife had to go to work 2 hours early and us being mandated to stay untill the 2230 phleb starts her shift.

Sorry to hear of your wifeβs boss, crapgame - some people abuse leadership.
From the in-lawβs house in the Philippines, may you all have a very blessed Christmas Eve and Day!

When you work at a hospital that is something that happens. As a young man I had to work every Christmas every, New Years eve and New Years day for 7 years. As an IT professional, I was on call 24/7/365 for 26 years and had to work many holidays and weekends. I know it sucks, but she may be saving someone's life tonight.

...Christmas Eve Dinner is over now and I sit here reflecting on the past...enjoying a bowl of Revelation Match...sipping Port...and brewing a small pot of coffee...
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, And the smoke, it encircled his head like a wreath...

We lead a great Christmas Eve service at church, my favorite service of the year. Then a light dinner with friends and family. Now winding up the day with a couple of pipes. Tomorrow will be low key. Lunch with my mother at her assisted living facility, then packing for a week at our daughterβs in the Rio Grande Valley. Weβll take a couple of days to make the drive down and then relax for awhile!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all!

Beautiful night in the back yard of my son in law's home...72 degrees today, probably 65 when we left his home...great libations, pipe and cigars abound....it was delightful watching the grandkids squeal with delight...I made my first Caesar salad from scratch...discovered that I like anchovies instead of my experience tasting fishy pizza in the 70's that had ruined me on it.
My daughter bought me a hot air fryer, got home and tried some store bought taquitos...I think this kitchen implement will get used a lot.

Well, it's Christmas day now.
Yesterday we had our big meal, per my wife's family tradition: oven roasted pork shoulder, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables, and garlic bread. For dessert we had homemade fruit cake that my wife has basted with rum for the past two weeks.
After that, we watched "The Nativity Story" (2006)
Today, Christmas day, we will go to church for Christmas Mass, eat leftovers and hang out together.
Merry Christmas, Happy (late) Hanukkah, Blessed Kwanzaa, and all the rest.

That was a great movie, more often than not anything related to the Bible, filmmakers get it wrong... it is nice to see them get it right.

Merry Christmas to all! Someone snuck a picture of me last night. We were about to drink The Milk of Human Kindness with our Figgy Pudding, but I decided to have more roast boar instead.

Now I know how my wife felt waiting for me to come home! Ditto me working every holiday for about 5 years at Bank of America's Operations Center and Central Cash Vault, 3rd Shift. That was the early 1970s. We were generously paid "Time and a half" for our efforts. Those years certainly broke me of the holiday spirit. It took a wife and stepson later in life to get me back into the holidays. At the time, I did not mind working over the holidays. To keep us on our toes, the bank ran drills. Nothing says Christmas like an Intruder Drill or Bomb Threat Drill.

I was an apprentice and my only choice was to quit and get into some other field. I don't know if I made the right choice. Later I was happy to work nights because of her bitching. So I think I was right. I later quit a job because they wanted me to work nights and we had just lost a baby. I couldn't leave my second wife at home alone at night.

When I was a young Exxon Shift Employee, you were on the lowest rung of the totem pole, no holidays off, π© vacation choices. Later as my kids were not into opening toys I would have the younger members of my crew draw straws and I would relieve them after midnight they would quietly slip off and be with their kids for Santa Claus. Had a Prick sSection Super who questioned my relief of a Union man was legal, told the SOB; this would make a good segment on Baton Rouge TV that Exxon doesnβt want their employees to be with their kid for Christmas, Prick shut.,up other older men started doing what I was doing and the rapport among shift teams was greatly enhanced. Oh the Pricks son and my son work for Exxon and are good buddies, life is strange.
