C&D Bijou in a Savinelli KS Bulldog.
This is a really lovely tobacco. It's got definite grassy notes backed up by some gentle sweetness from the honey topper.

Evenin' Gents, smoking Condor long cut in a clay and drinking a cup of tea. I've extended my Condor moment throughout the day and I don't plan on stopping until this pouch is finished. Happy Puffin'...!

Sitting on the back porch smoking G&H Brown twist in a Don Warren Freehand, watching the Hummingbirds feed. Amazing creatures, it is a wonder they don't explode at such rates...I wonder how the Woodpecker doesn't suffer from migraines, and cracked skulls.

Wow, so many posts out here already! Happy new year to all. May 2019 be a pipe smokers dream. Started the year by breaking in my new Castello Old Antiquari bent billiard with first, Brunello Flake, followed by Old dark Fired. Maybe a bowl of Penzance later. And contemplating the new year. And drinking coffee. Can't forget that.

It's a great pipe. It makes the flavor in Penzance and Balkan Supreme really shine. I learned early on not to fill it with dark plug and smoke it fast

After finishing up the PZ I looked up on the shelf and the EMP jar was calling my name. So, what the heck, I loaded up a bowl. Great stuff. Now it's time to scratch that Squadron Leader itch...

The last bowl of the first day of the year will be PS Natural Dutch Cavendish, in the Kaywoodie Custom Grain 07 billiard. (It will be the last because my next smoke after that one will be after midnight, making that one the first bowl of the second day of the year.)

Happy Puffin'...! GAWD! You've made that tobacco look so delicious! I've actually never tried the long cut, but I have a few remaining Irish plugs that I've been hoarding. You almost made me break one out. ... Must ... resist ... BTW, let me also say that lurv everything about that photo.
