Finally a smoke today. Just had 3 root canals today, so no smoking earlier. Engine 99 in my Pibe Dan tribute.

Lol... Thank you! Condor is fantastic if you like that type of tobacco. You should stop hoardin' and start smokin'! Why deny yourself? This whole cellaring business is highly overrated. Your welcome. Lol You're right and I know it. I certainly follow that advice when it comes to the McClelland blends. I like them, I smoke them. When they're gone, they're gone and I'll be left with fond memories. Condor is something a little extra special though. It really has no match or even close contender and I'm not touching the Polish stuff unless Jim gives me the go-ahead. So, my last Condor moment will feel like the end of a long relationship. I'm trying to put that off for as long as I can. Jim has already given his opinion of the Polish Condor, and I, 100% agree...it is total crap. Nothing at all like the Irish. I have about 6 long cut flakes left of the Irish Condor and a ½"x½" piece of plug that I am slowly going through trying my best to keep it as long as I can...almost ready to frame it behind a break glass in case of emergency glass. I am sure gonna miss that Condor flavor...I smoke it in a tiny paneled pipe that you can fit a half a flake in it. That is my dedication to this blend that is now g o n e.

Relaxing after a wonderful spaghetti and meat balls dinner, and am half way through this bowl of year 2011 Germain’s Plum Cake in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Phone chatting with the legendary Pete Rothberg.

Smoking PS Luxury Bullseye Flake in a Don Warren morta prince (that I bought from danno44 - thanks, Dan) with coffee and water on the side. I love the turquoise band in contrast to the black morta on this pipe.

Pulled some Prince Andrew out of my cellar and am enjoying it in my Don Warren blasted Pickaxe. That's a beauty, John. Love the stem and I'm a sucker for pickaxes.

Randy, that’s a real good looking Don Warren Pipe, that turquoise band pulls it all together well. I’m partial to Don’s pipes and Kirsten bowls👍👍👍

This is the latest shape ("Children's Crusade") in the Marty Pulvers "Human Folly/Human Tragedy" series made by Don Warren Pipes. Although I am normally go for smooth and stripey when I buy a pipe, I preferred the look of this blasted one over the smooths that Don had. The blast also makes the shield and cross motif on the front pop out more. Don called the stem color "coffee swirl".

Having some C&D Redburn in an unnamed briar. This is rapidly becoming one of my favorite tobaccos. Light hay notes at the top of the pull turn gradually into a deep and abiding earthiness at the bottom before pepper peeps through in the exhale.
