I was a pc gamer until I moved to the deep sticks. I remember being amazed that I could play against real people in Age of Empires in 1998. Diablo was great as well. Computers and games changed quick. I stuck with the pc and lost countless days of my life playing the battlefield series (started with 1942 and ended with 4), and then countless years of it playing WoW. Now in the last 3 years I've played maybe a total of 10 hours across pc and console.
My oldest son has always been an xbox fan, my 9 year old is all about the ps4. Whenever I'm in town I can still grab a controller from either system and jump right back in to things.
I miss it a lot just to pass time, but I do enjoy the more simple life of doing absolutely nothing.

I played neverwinter on my son's PS4 but he traded it for an Xbox 1.. i guess i can DL neverwinter to that, but will lose all my progress since each platform is different.. sad and i was a lvl 71 cleric that was BADA$$! You could get a cheap used system on eBay. Now that the 4k systems are released the standard consoles are cheap. Or just play on PC. Make a Steam account. I believe that game is free there as well. And it's a simple game graphically, so any PC can run it. Sucks losing your progress, but the upside is you get to play it over again.

It's fun to find the most ridiculous car, just spend a load of money to upgrade it, and thrash your competitors with it. I've been on Horizon since 2 and have all of the mainline Forza games since 3. But I prefer the open world nature of the Horizon games

I love bf5. It's a good game if you have friends to play with in a squad reliably. You can always tell when they are communicating. I also got a horizon 2 copy for free from xbox gold and fell in love with the game.
As for diablo I'm glad other people enjoy it also. I'm doing a full sleeve tattoo of books and game symbols with the witcher, d&d ampersand, dark tower, ff7 buster sword, diablo, assassins creed, targaryen dragon, stark direwolf, doctor who and tolkeins sigil so far.

I hate playing online with strangers, so there is really no reason to get games when they first release. haha

I can play the entire game, multiple playthroughs, and not interact with anyone unless I want to. I love story-driven games, huge Dragon Age and Mass Effect fan. With those 2 franchises, Bioware made amazing single player games that are unique enough that a player can playthrough multiple times, make different choices, and have differing results at the end

If you don't have it, you get a 30 day free trial. That'll give you a chance to play Horizon 4 for free. If you don't like it or GamePass, you can cancel the subscription without having paid a cent

Senior pipe smokers can still play games, no? This senior pipe smoker is lost when you speak of games..might as well be Chinese to me. Toughest game I play, is telling the wife..."no more tobacco for me"...she knows better and just gives me the eye. This senior pipe smoker has no idea what you all are even talking about...that's how old this senior pipe smoker is....just LOST. I’m an old coot too. I started on Atari and I guess I’ll retire when the arthritis stops me. I’m still giving these whipper snappers a run for their money.

Actually, I can remember my mother getting a used Pong from a yard sale when I was about 5 or 6 and my brother and I played that
