I know that guy he played defensive end for the U ... There is only one U and that is the University of Miami. All others who claim the title now stole it!!😁 Miami has a LOT of work to do before they can start throwing up the "U" again with anything other than baseless optimism. Although, I've read that Jalen Hurts is heading dow for a visit now that he is a grad transfer. They could use a QB.

But yes sad to say after coming back from sanctions and winning another national championship(should have been 2😁), they have been a shell of their former selves. In reality the only team that is as dominant in today's game (for an extended period of time) is Alabama. Funny enough there is talk about Alabama's former starring quarterback following his QB coach to Miami (You are right). With UM's defense playing well, a good QB would have made a difference. Not saying they would beat Clemson or Alabama, but certainly this year (not to mention last year) could have been better.

I grew up in Miami and as a young boy went to UM's first National Championship game in 1983 against Nebraska. After attending graduate school at UF, I find myself in the odd position of enjoying both teams. One thing LSU and UF fans have in common, besides the SEC, is a desire to dethrone Alabama. 😁 Admittedly LSU has to face them every year with my sympathies.

They good thing for us is that most of our defense is returning. Although Greedy Williams declared for the draft, the new freshman phenom, Stingley, is an early enrollee, and played in the Fiesta Bowl practice. The dude had three picks! Our DC said he would have started, if he could have played. He has that nose for the ball like Patrick Peterson or Tyron Mathieu. With Fulton announcing he's coming back for his senior season, we have two legitimate lock down corners. Delpit, our sack machine at safety is back, and with Chaisson back after his ACL tear against Miami, our pass rush should be wicked. Although Devin White will like declare, the word is that he is legitimately conflicted, and there is a decent chance he returns for his senior year. If Devin comes back, this could be one of our best defenses With offense having a year under its belt, we are cautiously optimistic. Plus, we have a favorable schedule this year. It's going to be a long off-season. I hope Miami get Jalen Hurts. For sticking it out, I have a lot of respect for that kid. He deserves a shot.

I never cared about LSU football, but after staying with my nephew in NO me and six of other nephews all watch the games together even though we are 300 miles apart. We start a chat at the beginning of the game and see who can make the snarkiest remark. Now I actually look forward to football season. 💩💩🤠
