Hello, I am relatively new to the pipe smoking hobby, having started about 3 years ago. Since then I've learned a lot, accumulated more pipes and tobacco than I ever thought I would, and have enjoyed the journey immensely. I am interested in the tastes, smells and heritage of all things related to the briar.
Although I started out smoking on my own, lately I've been more interested in making friends with others in the pipe smoking community. I've attended a couple of meetings of the Christopher Morley Pipe Club in Philadelphia, and all the members there spoke very highly of this site. I'm looking forward to learning more and contributing where I can.

adding my greets/welcome from 50miles East of Buffalo, NY where as of this writing, approx. 8" powderly snow. Out with small snowblower later but no smoke as wind will pick up.
Yes, Morleys is a great club. Outstanding knowledge for many years from a frequent chatter (see link). Les Young (Lestrout).
