Any plans for the IPSD on 20Feb? It's on a Wednesday, which befouls planning for most. Since the first one, I've celebrated with the NJ Fellowship of Pipe Smokers, which puts on a nice event at the JR Cigars in Whippany, even though the drive is about 3 hours (2 pipes). I've also met with the NYPC which lately does its thing at the Barclay Rex around Wall Street, typically on a weekend near the actual IPSD.

It falls perfectly on our pipe night at Big Sticks on Wednesday the 20th. Typically, we have pipe nights two weeks after the pipe club meeting. Paul is going to try and get one of the Pipe/ pipe tobacco sales guys for that night... maybe some free stuff giveaways.

So some of you have picked your favorite tobacco, do any of you pick a new tin to crack or a special tin that maybe you don't smoke on the regular?
I'll probably be smoking at home, but thinking of cracking something new to me (maybe special like a esoterica, but the brebbia latakia flake which I haven't tried might be calling too).

...I don't get out much, so I'll probably crack open something from the back of the cellar...

I will be home all day, having a furnace installed. My plan is to run a space heater in the man cave and smoke many bowls of my favorites. I did order some tobacco that was on sale and got the free shipping from SP.

Sadly, there is not a pipe club anywhere near me, so I will be celebrating IPSD with the closest thing I have to a pipe club, YTPC. Seriously considering cracking the seal on one of my remaining tins of Dark Star tomorrow....

I will celebrate by opening some aged Esoteric and smoking it in my Castello. Accompanied by a nice whiskey. Happy IPSD.

Hmmm, I will begin with drinking coffee and then heading to work to prepare for a trial on Thursday. I will then spend the day preparing for trial in perfect misery. Then, I will leave, grab El Pollo Loco (standard pre-trial ritual meal) before coming home and watching a cheesy Hammer movie with a few bowls.

Tomorrow's gonna be BUSY. Packing up the house to take it to the new one on Thursday. I think I'm gonna go over to a buddy's house tomorrow and have a smoke with him in the evening. Think I'll crack open a tin of Esoterica Dorchester.

Out of town all week, but the good news is that I'm in Wichita, home of my favorite B&M - it has a fine smoking lounge and a decent selection of tobacco. If things go as planned, I'll spend some time there tomorrow evening.

A pipe or two will be enjoyed.
I just bought a pipe from P&C yesterday, and some tobacco from Boswells. They should both be arriving tomorrow.
Unfortunately, we have a den meeting tomorrow evening (and pinewood derby this weekend), and I'm the den leader so I won't be making it out to Whippany.
