It's wonderful to see you, Brad. It's pretty easy to get around here. Still early days but we'll have some fun.

New place. One thing, though, you have to get at least one good English beer on tap to go with all the domestics you have.

My name is Sam. I live on Fern Court in Pensacola, FL. Married 36 years as of yesterday. I am a Navy veteran and retired from the Coast Guard. I took up the pipe in 2009, smoke some combination of VaPers and one Latakia blend. Congrats on 36 years together! Nice to meet you, Sam. -- Pat pruss : Same, same!!

Looks good so far. Reminds me bit like PipeChat in feel and presentation. Seems it may have a few more and easier tools than BIPS. I know Sparks is familiar with both and I believe puffadder is familiar with the former. Speaking to Sparks only here, one lacking feature on BIPS is the ability to mark messages "as read" when you have no interest in them. Sometimes there's a topic I am uninterested in that just want go away until I click on it. Having a function to clear messages "as read" also comes n handy when one has been away for a few days and simply wants to start fresh. I am on my wife's computer, which I hate, owing this site would not allow me to add my avatar on either of my mobile devices (iPad, iPhone). Is there anything to make the site more mobile friendly? Another thing, and this may be just the PC, but there seems to be no auto-correct or recognition of a new sentence. I will add more later as I think of something. Overall, good start.....NAY, great start. Sam, at the bottom of the forum page you can select the version (mobile/desktop) of the forum interface that you'd like to use. I switched to desktop on my iPhone and was able to update profile info no problem. pruss : Thanks!

Thanks for the invite. I'm always up for another pipe forum. Looks like the usual suspects here so far. I've updated my profile. I like the format. Pleasing to the eye and easy to use. I'm looking forward to participating.

That's even cooler, Frank. Rubbing elbows with British aristocracy. All I have are Justin and Dan and our imaginary friends.

I didn't find a forum suggestion box, so am putting this here: it would be nice to have Prev Next buttons at the bottom of the page. That is, with this thread of three pages so far, when I'm at the bottom of Page 1, I have to scroll back to the top to click Next or Page 2.
Very clean site and easy to navigate though. Good job getting it up this fast. 'Course it won't be officially sanctioned until PMon shows up.

@ simnettpratt This has been resolved.
You will now find page buttons at the bottom of all the appropriate boards.

I finally found the pic I had filed away somewhere of my avatar. It is the hand of death holding a scale. The scale holds a king's crown on one side and a common pipe on the other. The scale is perfectly balanced. It shows that when the end comes, the pleasures of a king are equal to the pleasures of a poor man and his pipe.
