G'day, wasted an hour on post office business, again, lack of people-computer communication between different civilised high tech call centres leading me on a merry dance , I do not get paid for doing business for these high tech companies, it goes on & on , whether the utility companies , mighty Apple , all unresolved time & money wasting, pettiness. The whinge over, I will light up a MM Country Gentleman & smoke some dreamy Great Dixter & talk to a furry animal they make more sense than the glass box machines, thank goodness for Christmas...peace & love.

G'day folks, my Kong sandalwood hexagonal bowl & square stem, with intricate aluminium band & quality, mouthpiece against a Hyundai high tech tv advert, with my Tom mix..that is what Western industry is up against, guys & gals. As an engineer of old , my Kong pipe is a high quality piece of engineering work for about ten dollars including post & package it is better quality than a lot of my UK briars at over ten times the price, but a "named" brand. . It smokes like.a dream & they are improving all the time, their customer service is friendly, with a custom silk lined box, with a free tamper tool & pipe cleaners & pipe stand, a custom note & emails, and sometimes I get a nice handwritten letter, in Chinese at times, can Western business compete ? Bye pipe dreamers.

At a motel in Rolla, MO. Will spend the weekend visiting my uncle, both of us veterans, this holiday weekend. Room is non-smoking so I stepped out for some McClelland #5100 in an MM Country Gent this morning. Appropriate since I went by Washington, MO where I believe the cobs are made on my way here. Wish I had time to stop in but this is kind of a whirlwind weekend trip and I hate driving anymore. Drinking motel coffee black this morning. Not bad.
Will have more #5100 throughout the day. I also brought along some Boswell Pennsylvania Dutch Treat for the other guests to enjoy as I smoke. Biscuits and gravy on tap for breakfast this morning.
