Made a cup of coffee and went outside to sit under a tree, where I filled up the big bowl on my Boswell and fired it up. It was one of those times where everything burns perfect, tamps perfect and draws perfect. When it was over, I had enjoyed it so much that I went inside and made another cup of coffee, came out, re-filled and started all over again. And darned if the second bowl wasn't just as nice as the first! Don't you love it when a pipeful works out like that? Yes...yes, I surely do

Macbaren: Burley Flake in a smooth Piazzolla semi-churchwarden. Coffee accompanies. * Thanks for messages. Welcome back Mike, great seeing you on here again👌👍👍 Perfect weather for enjoying a cigar on the back deck....57 degrees Fahrenheit here in NC. Smoking a Gurkha Empire III Dark Maduro leaf. It’s a cigar I’ve smoked before and enjoy. Not harsh but on the strong side for some. I’d consider this cigar in the “ Air Bender “ category. You cigar smokers understand for sure!! It’s a beast, close to the air bender for sure

Old Gowrie in a pencil shank billiard from Martelo. Gazing out at a dusting of snow so light that it's sweepable.
Wee bit of calvados to soak it all in.

Last smoke of the day is Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite stem. Seriously, smoking at 1:53 am? Jim is a Pro! He can post and smoke in his sleep.
