Reiner Professional Blend dated 2009. An enjoyable aromatic that does not need to be sipped. Pipe of choice: Pipes of Malta Meer Billiard bowl with a wide saddle stem. Custom made for me in 1987 and purchased while living on The Island of Malta. đź‘Ťđź‘Ť Lovely old Meerschaum, Ted.

A bit of Sutliff’s original Benjamin Hartwell Signature Blend in a Thermofilter beater billiard while I take a short break this afternoon. I haven’t been posting lately because I’ve been focused on work and that has left me with little time to play around on the social webs. You know what they say about all work and no play though. So, I’m going to try to pop in a little more frequently than I have been. Fair warning.

Enjoyed a couple of egg, ham and cheese biscuits, and am close to finishing this bowl of Viprati in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. A bottle of Cheerwine made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching Mad Dog Russo on this chilly, cloudy day.

The reason I don't post more is that I am busy smoking!!
Rimboche S.J. in a 320 EX. Wow. The sweetness really comes out. Or my taste perception mechanism is evolving.
In either case, I would pretty much rather be smoking.
See ya.

Smoked a bowl of Scotty's Trout Stream in my IMP Meerschaum Bent Egg earlier. Was a very nice smoke. Starting to crave some Latakia now.

Good Afternoon Pipers! Late morning hour, some E.Dorchester in the Savinelli Hercules Rusticated 121EX Pot, a cup of Costa Rica Cascara loose leaf tea (second run through) while listening to "The Herd" on the local sports station. We had some good snow come down in the Bend, OR area last night, a bit earlier this morning, so time to get out and shovel the driveway and sidewalk

Thanks Perry ^^^^^^^^^ took a while but well worth the effort. I used a Mr Ckaen Magic Eraser on the stem, works wonders. The briar I buffed with White Diamond and finished off with pure Carnauba.

Giving the briar a bit of a rest and lining up some corn cobs instead. As part of my introduction to CAO Moontrance I found two things: that you should wait about two days after popping the tin before smoking this baccy, for best results, and that Moontrance smokes very well in an old corn cob. And so it did these last two outings, in a couple of MM diplomat corn cobs.
