I spent a lot of summers around the Scottsbluff area as a kid.

Are you familiar with the far western parts of NE? I spent a lot of summers around the Scottsbluff area as a kid. Very familiar with the Scottsbluff/Gering region. We make it a point to get to Scottsbluff once a summer to hike it. 3 miles and 1500 feet of elevation change! Never tried lunting up it, usually I am just trying to catch my breath the whole way. |

Ah yes ... the Scottsbluff Monument holds some good memories!  Watching my brother ignore the "Keep on Trail" signs and almost getting whacked by a rattler is one of them. LOL |

Yes the tale of the member who came, posted a bit and left... The real story of online forums... However there is twist...Apparently flatwatermonte is back!!! Welcome to Patch 2 !!! See it in a theater near you!!!! (Or in serial on Netflixs?) Q True, all true..... In my defense, I have been stopping by to lurk a few times each week, just been so crazy busy. I own the local body shop. Lost 3 employees this last year, 2 to spousal moves and another to a change in scenery, so currently I am wearing every hat in the place, and our workload hasn't slowed a bit. I am also the president of our county agricultural society and we are celebrating our 150th year and fair this year, which in turn means we are holding a county fair that is much bigger than our normal fair, so adding a little stress there as well! |

Welcome back, it sounds like the road you have traveled has been challenging to say the least. My sis in law heads up the county fair in Woodstock Connecticut, so I understand what a challenge you have on your hands. People have cabin fever after this last year.
