Anybody into South Park? It's probably my favorite show. I could talk for hours about it and where it fits into the history of satire.

Used to sit in a bar with a good friend, share a pitcher or two, and watch - we're talking seasons 2 or 3. Haven't watched it in ages, but used to lover the irreverence.

The early seasons were great, but I feel like it really hit its stride around season 6 or 7. The WoW episode is comedic genius.

I love how they take 90% of my thinking as I watch the world do its thing and make my thoughts even funnier.

I like it OK, some episodes more than others. My favorite episode is "The F Word". My son knows all of the dialog in every episode and it irritating to watch with him speaking all of the lines.

I love the show! Favorie episode and character. Go. Episode? I don't know, man....there are so many good ones and I agree, the later seasons are gut-busting.
Character? A tie between Randy and Jimmy.
I like the fact that when I watched it on Hulu, it was uncensored.
If you have Netflix, check out "F is for Family". The first season is good, but the second and third are much better.

Bill Burr cracks me up all the time. In real life and animated.

I think my favorite episode overall is the handi-car one. Nathan's probably my favorite character. Jimmy and Butters come close, though.

I think the humour in it is just a bit too up-tone for me. I am more of a Marx Bros kind of person, I suppose.
I do appreciate the humour in Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill, though. I guess there is something just more down to earth about Mike Judge.

I didn't like it for a long time. Over the past few years I gave it a chance and realized how clever it really is. Not only poignant satire, but I like how they never choose a side politically. No one is safe. haha

I either like the WoW episode or maybe 'They Took Our Jerbs' Also like when they make fun of the bikers.
Randy is the man.
You ever play the games? I've just played Stick of Truth, but I intend to get around to Fractured But Whole. Amazing game play if you're into old school RPGs and it's cool being free to roam around South Park.

I like Southpark, great satire.I also like Family guy...many obscure and not so obscure references to cultural norms current and past. Southpark is more in your face style humor, and Family Guy has references that some people don't pick up on.Some of the Looney Tunes cartoons were similar in that they are entertaining to all but contain some adult humor, although not quite as lowbrow as Southpark or Family Guy.

No one is safe. haha I had always written it off as crude for crudeness's sake. Then, my advisor (who had never steered me wrong) told me to go check it out. He raved about it. That summer, I binged the whole thing. Kyle says it best in one of the episodes. He basically says that you can't put limits on satire: you can either make fun of everything or nothing. I really appreciate their dedication to that level of ridicule.
