I made a clock! This was just a tin I had around without the ugly looking warning on it. I need to figure out what I would like to find without a warning on it as well to make a tin clock to setup in my little smoking area. I take no credit for the idea. I found out about this idea from Pipe and Tamper.

NICE. I have a Stanwell tin that I need to do this with. I just need to find the clock guts with short minute & hour hands.

Looks great. I had seen these, probably the same place you did. I had forgotten about it. Glad you reminded me.

Great idea, plus the tin Art makes it a real looker👍👍. I’d make a few and hang’em on a wall.

This is the kit I used. The second hand just makes it over the edge of a standard size tin but the angle of this picture makes it look like it's further. I was thinking about making some modifications to all the hands on this clock to slightly shorten them up. Overall it was really cheap and was an easy build. Time will tell if its of good quality or if its junk. Get it?! Time will tell?! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0725VGZHN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_t

That looks fantastic. Such a neat idea. I wonder what other neat things we can do with our left over tins.

With the added benefit that there's still plenty of room inside the tin for tobacco.

That would look good affixed to the dash of a classic car or truck and right at home in a rat rod.

A great idea that really looks good. Every mancave could use one especially if the “caveman” smokes a pipe.

Great, another project to add to the pile of things I'll never get around to.

Great, another project to add to the pile of things I'll never get around to. If it helps, it took about five minutes to make and minimal effort.

I had the crazy idea of doing that and come next pipe night, wait for you to enter the pole building and me standing there like Flava Flav. And while your reaction would be fun to watch, I'd be real curious if I got a reaction out of Doug. lol
