Recently I had an accident in my shop in which while reaching for a tool my hand got caught up in an attachment adapter. Luckily enough I walked away with only needing 4 stiches but unfortunately my 1953 shopsmith "greeny" which my great grandfather handed down to me before he passed away several, he lovingly called betty got hurt too. when my hand hit the attachment adapter (from what I can figure out) seized the machine momentarily knocking the original parts on the control sheave and the speed control assembly loose then sheering the two together when the retaining loop fell out of its place.
here's how its supposed to look
with that being said I need to replace these parts so as to not cause any further damage to my machine. if any member on here has a retired shopsmith or has spare parts for a mark v please get in contact with me on here or my email [email protected] I don't have much money from having to pay the hospital bill but will work out some form of a deal. -Jason "shaggy" Stone

PSA: I'm not looking for a handout, I just want to get back to making canes, bowls, bats, and of course pipes to help support the Shriners Hospital for Children and as well my family.
