hello everyone my name is Doug I run Dkmetalpipes (yes I'm one of those metal pipe smokers) I am looking forward to getting to know everyone on the Forum. I am a long time pipe smoker, enjoy lots of different tobaccos, my cellar is around one hundred plus different types although it seems 90% of the time I revert to my own blend. In the shop I restore modify and make custom parts for vintage aluminum tobacco pipes.

Welcome Doug, glad you finally joined๐๐๐๐. Iโm so ecstatic with the Kirsten pipe and Bent System I purchased from you a while back whenever I post pictures on here I usually get a few questions. A few pipers took my advice and purchased from you and they now enjoy their Kirsten pipes. One reason I prefer a Kirsten is the hand made bowls created by Don Warren smoke and look outstanding on a Kirsten.
Plus it doesnโt hurt that I tell pipers your a great guy to do business with as well.......donโt get a swollen head....lol
Enjoy your stay here and post some of your pipes from time to time. After 100 posts youโll be able to sell here on the Patch. Iโm sure a few members still have questions and they can call you. Good luck

Cool man. I'm glad to have you on here. We've been getting more business and brick and mortar people lately which is very exciting. I've always liked those quirky metal pipes myself. Like the falcons and so on. The problem is everyone is so up in arms lately about this drug thing. "Is it a drug pipe?", "I don't know, are you a moron?" kind of thing. I get asked every day, as it is, if I have something "extra" in my cigars. Why would I even do that? Dabbing is so much more efficient. Its so weird these days, with the legalisation hitting different areas, and the teetotaler thing going on simultaneously. Its the same reason I decided against getting a medwakh. I guess I could get an old falcon and just enjoy it in my house.

Welcome from the Mile High City! Glad to have you with us. I bought my first Falcon last month and have heard good things about Kirstens. I might have to give one a try, especially if Lonecoyote and Scrooge recommend them.

But I'm also a pretty well known counter culture "suspect" so I'll never be given the benefit of the doubt in these kinds of matters Do you think I should start with a Falcon? Or another brand?
