This is the beginning of my ManRoom. It's on the main floor, so not a cave. The dolls are going. Club Rules. Xuan, who has an excellent art eye totally missed the point putting antique Victorian Dolls in an AsianDecoFusion room. The little shelf atop the table will be moved and have a slot car track and ceramic village on it. When I get it all in place, a card table (folding) and an EZ Chair.
Xuan would never let me do this before, but we are moving things for comfort now, not for guests. She was reintroduced to the woman next door yesterday. They were good friends and Xuan doesn't remember her at all. But the woman understands and we are going to have some family gatherings in the future
The cabinet under the black lacquer is a foldout bar with doors on both sides for self service or bartender service. 20s-30s Deco. Cool story behind that. May wind up one of Turks's previous lives... as the Gentle Voices may guide
What happened to Xuan? Why is she losing her room? Are you sending her to live with the neighbour lady? Help me, I am a little bit confused!
She had a stroke on Thanksgiving and it triggered one or more issues like amnesia, schizophrenia, dementia, etc. She lost her concept of time.
Even in her state I have asked her if it's okay what we're doing. She still has opinions and many other faculties, like loving the large TV I put in the bedroom.
Yesterday she let the dog out the wrong door for the third time and he ran through the snow, nekkid and free... just like daddy. People pick him up and bring him home faster than they do when I am loose

I am sorry to hear all of this terrible news.
It sounds like you are adjusting and coping well, even given the circumstances.
I look forward to seeing that room when you get done with it. A smoke den with that radio would be really cool. I see a lot more smaller tube radios that still fire up than the big ones. Those philco radios back in the old days were something.
