This is my first IPSD and I was just thinking about this... if I keep the Addis and 5100 as a yearly tradition until I die I would need roughly 4oz of 5100 saved away. That's calculating ~3g per bowl for 35 more years. Although, by that time, I think my jar of IPSD 5100 would be dust, as would I  Happy IPSD to all of you fine folks! |

Sorry I'm late, guys! Just in from shoveling the driveway. haha It snowed, so I didn't make it to the local B&M. That's okay- Still having a smoke with the only pipe club that matters

......I initially abbreviated the baccy as Arango BS and then thought better of it after looking at it for a moment.....

It was here earlier. This morning we got a foot of snow and then it warmed up, so it's slushy out now. 36 degrees. I'll take it. haha

My original IPSD celebration is being postponed due to the freezing rain/snow from Philly to northern NJ. But we will have the party on Monday instead. Good call on the delay - a lot of accidents on the news, with even the Turnpike and I-95 being shut to clear the damages.
Puffing SG Navy Flake in a Pipa Croci that an NJ buddy gave me.

I just had daveinlax on the video hangout for a bit - but the connection was sketchy and finally died. He was puffing one of his usual Castellos, but not a 55.

Had some John Bull earlier, unfortunately it's dinner time, I make the dinner, and I have kids who will need to go to bed, so I'll join you later. Maybe some Bob's Chocolate Flake or Happy Brown Bogie for the occasion.

On my 7th bowl of the day, again is Royal Yacht all day now in an Edward's (6th one today) the first one I bought back in '71 a 270-L bent bulldog. The best straight Va blend ever made and oil cured Algerian briar , perfect combo for IPSD day !

I dunno. Maybe I'll have some "Tred Avon" in my Willmer bent apple (my oldest pipe). The Tred Avon is my local shop's "blend", which I'm pretty sure is just Sutliff 1M. It was the first tobacco I bought when I got back into this craziness called "Pipes".

Ok, happy IPSD, late. Had some Match Ready Rubbed in a prototype cherrywood, and now some RR ODF in a bent nosewarmer.

I was making a pipe, so that's extra commemorative.
