I got a Blue catsye ring the gem of transcendence, it's definitely got a feel to it, I felt it before I even knew it was the gem of transcendence. Id recommend it to anyone. Anybody else who has witnessed the the healing properties of rocks

Welcome to the forum, we have a member with a similar username. Right now the only rocks I have are in my head. However, my daughter is very much into crystals.......polished rocks in which she finds helps in healing.

I agree that certain rocks do have more "energy" than others. Being a rock-hound, I've picked up and handled thousands of different stones and some are just special.

One can actually make a good bowl for a pipe with the proper tools. Other materials from Mother Nature can be used as stems.

I believe the rocks in my scotch glass have a healing effect. They also cause me to buy pipes after midnight.

Rocks have tremendous energy. When thrown at others. Not sure they heal much like that, though.

Not sure if it’s true but years ago I read a story that somewhere deep is some jungle there was a hut made from black stones that emitted radiation and people with certain types of cancer that spent a substantial amount of time in the hut were cured from their disease. I’m wondering if anyone else ever heard of this?

I find rocks very healing. The bigger the better. Big Bend is very refreshing, as are the Guadeloupe Mountains and the several caves I have been in. Antelope Canyon and the Sangre de Christo mountains have been very helpful personally. Rocks combined with a wide open sky is good for what ails you. I knew a ton of people in the 60's and 70's that believed that rock crystals could do all kinds of things things like healing. Unfortunately, they are all dead now. If you really want to get into it, head for Sedona. Many like minded people there.

I think that they benefit the cause of human enterprise. The enterprise of those who decide to create a healing mystique about rocks and then grow rich selling the rocks that they had collected beforehand. Genius.

I've seen a rock judiciously applied up side someone's head heal a rotten attitude. Does that count?

...stones are very significant to Natives...My stone bracelets I wear most of the time and they do hold special meaning during some rituals...too detailed to go into here but I do believe for many they provide a sense of calm and serenity...

I’m wondering if anyone else ever heard of this? AJ I've heard what AJ has replied on...my understanding was that the stones had radioactive material in them and the radiation while mild, possibly affected cancerous cells in their bodies...it was, of course, speculation as they were giving their impression of what actually might have happened. Entirely possible...and those who were spiritual may have self cured themselves. I collected stone and rock that I thought interesting from all across the US while traveling (driving) on business...lava, otter rocks (where the otter puts the river stone on his belly and cracks the shell of the clams they ate), river stones, rock that had been melted with other stones in them (magma)...all interesting...the only thing that they healed for me was the joy of finding them and now the memories of where I found them.

Personally,I've found quite a bit of healing in a long bowl of P.S. Lux Twist Flake. Also some ascension in an Oriental blend with a shot of Scotch (maybe 3 or 4).

I still have it someplace. A doctor who had his office in the same professional building as my wife's medical laboratory in the 70's wrote a song called "My Pet Rock". We have a copy on a 45. I am open for serious bids.

Reminds me of the George Carlin line, " same as the rabbits foot, and the lady that tells you your fortune by squeezing the goats testicles, same results"
Rocks are not magical in my book.
