I've never tried any of their cellar series. Going to check this out. I've got Bijou and King Cake from the Cellar Series that had a date of only two weeks old and they tasted young and wild. They werent bad and certainly showed signs of being fantastic with age. Its that love/hate relationship I have with C&D in general, good blends but often are young when purchased and need time.

I pulled the trigger on this one. Old Grove, Oak Alley, Bijou, Bourbon Bleu, Speakeasy. Waiting for my wife to scold me.

I have the Bijou and didn't realize it was a cellar series. Thought it was pretty good fresh.

I bought the king cake not realizing it was an aromatic, and I didn’t care for it, so I handed it off to a pipe club member that loves it. Not goopy by any stretch... I just don’t smoke aro’s much.
All my other cellar series were bought when they were first released.

Going to have to grab some of these. Birthday present to myself. Maybe I'll be alive when they're "ready." If not, maybe one of my sons will enjoy it

I could write it down on my inventory list, stick it in a tote and completely forget about it (without trying to). I found stuff the other night that I forgot I had, and it was only a couple of months old.

I just checked what I have... only have Chenets cake and Joi De Vivre... 2014, so there is at least another 4 to 8 years before it is safe to smoke!
Great marketing.

I picked up 10 tins of Speakeasy the year before last. Great fresh!

I have a couple tins of Bijou I added to an order for free shipping when it first came out. Of course, I cellared it - Badda boom badda bang.
