Does anyone know if Boswell's has quit making their own pipes?

Last week a friend from Long Island ordered a pipe from Boswell’s. You can also give them a call.

Boswell still makes their own pipes, but they only put them online on Monday evenings, and by Tuesday morning most are gone...

I'm not sure if J.M. is carving anymore? I recently sold a couple from the 90s and was very pleasantly surprised with the estate value offered by Smokingpipes. Great pipes, just time in life where some had to go.

Yes, Jim is still carving, Dan is involved as well. I hope to plan a road trip there sometime this year if at all possible...but will make sure I get to meet the whole family...and I'd plan to buy me a Boswell to commemorate the event as well.

yes, they are still selling them, and both father and son are carving them. As mentioned above, go to their website on Monday at 8pm ET. They typically have 8 - 12 pipes for sale, and yes they go quickly. boswellpipes.com. I recently started smoking a pipe again, and someone suggested I order one of their blends of tobacco... and then saw a pipe that was equally a 'work of art' and bought it. Loved the tobacco blend so went back to the site to order quantity. Then saw another pipe that I just had to get! Well, here are my two Boswell pipes, a freehand "Sitter", and a "Squat Tomato".

From my own experience Boswell pipes have always sold very quickly. I have bought 3 Boswell pipes. One was custom made and I found they were great to work with and good communicators in the process of a custom ordered pipe. All three pipes have been great smokers and easy to care for. They hold their value as an estate pipe market wise. I found I wasn't using my jumbo pipe a lot and sold my 2002 Jumbo Boswell in 2018 on Ebay for the same price I paid for it 16 years earlier and the buyer was super pleased. I continue to enjoy my other 2 medium sized Boswell's and they will remain in my permanent rotation.
