I've never seen that one listed on a US site. I use my trusty old boy scout knife.

Can't really tell if the one end you can't see has a tamper (solid) end. Otherwise, nice knife.

I noticed it has a bone handle. I once ordered a bone pipe tamper from the UK. I don't recall, though, seeing bone implements offered on US sites. I wonder if anyone knows whether there is a ban or something on bone use here, or maybe I just miss the stuff when it is out there.

John, that’s a knife with style, well crafted and the price is right. I own 3 Rough Rider pocket knives, I’m extremely satisfied with every one👍
Two of my Rough Rider Knives are the style called “ Toothpick “, one medium & one large. The other is a Trapper.
Pull the trigger, you won’t be disappointed!!!

It is sad that all of the pipe knives it seems that are on the market are Chinese made, and 440 SS.... It would be pretty cool if someone like Gerber would produce a limited run out of their Oregon factory.

I’ve used his a few times on my last visit, a real beauty and extremely well crafted. agrussell.com/knife/A-G-Russell-Pipe-Knife-Smooth-White-Bone--RUS-CP24SWBPS Take notice of the proper tamper👌👍👍

Nice looking knives, but again... Chinese.
A knife for me has to be American made.
Thanks though.

I understand how you feel about American made, but the Chinese knives have come a long way as far as blade steel and superb craftsmanship. Some Chinese knives like Reate and Kizer are sought after by collectors of fine custom made knives. You’d be amazed if you held the above mentioned knives in your hand.

My Case doctors knife was made in the USA. I don't know if they still are though. Am I the only one who reacts to calling pipe smokers pipers like scratching nails on a chalkboard?

Case knives are still well crafted and made in America. Many models are collectibles, especially some of the older Doctors series.

Might be the case, but knives and guns for me have to be American made, by people or companies with solid reputations...a quirk of mine, but it is what it is... I would make exception for other western manufacturers like Accuracy international, and Czechloslovakia...CZ mfg...just no Chinese stuff.Having said all of that, the knives mentioned would do well for the mundane task slicing tobacco, and tamping.
