I've got a Quonset Hut (airplane hanger) with a finished office (man cave) full of tobacco, tobacco Kiln and cigar rolling station. My whole leaf is kept in cardboard boxes and the jars and tins are in various shelves and cabinets. This is also where many of my pipes that aren't in current rotation are stored. Heck, with your digs you could set up a tobacco processing facility in that Cadillac of Quonset huts.... you could even bunk Cuban cigar rollers in that place... McDarin’s tobacco company. The plan WAS to be growing in there ... just not tobacco. It was a close vote this last year! If it swings that way again, I'll start setting up cots ... I mean, catres! LOL

I have a bookshelf with a lot of tobacco. Only one jar per blend. The rest are packed into boxes that are closed and put away for long term storage.

I will need to upscale soon. I use a bedside table in my office (in the garage). Top drawer holds my pipes. Bottom drawer my tobacco.

Woah!! That's quite the setup!
Some great ideas in this here thread.
I keep my tobacco in banker boxes in the basement, and the stuff I am currently smoking goes in my tackle box.

Thanks... once I get motivated, I am going to try and create a wood frame shelving for the armoire in the clothes hanging part and ditch the boxes.

Well now I'm embarrassed . . . mine looks like an unholy nightmare of 4 different size mason jars and tins of all size of shapes piled on top of each other like a game of tetris. Guess I need to do a reorg before doing pictures of this nightmare.

Hell...even with a cabinet, I played cellar Jenga with stacked jars...my schedule sometimes finds me getting home quite late looking through the cellar at O' dark thirty in prparation for my next dispatch...... Crash!Yeah, out comes momma...what the hell!

Now where I’m staying I have plenty stored in original tins, some jarred for aging in the kitchen area in the lower 4 cabinets “ where nobody goes but me “. My everyday rotation tobacco’s that are opened are scattered in the dining room and living room neatly. Most of my sealed tins and jars are still back at my son’s home, where I use to live. Need to get the rest of my belongings moved out this Spring, I’m still being charged $100.00 a month storage fee.......” ahhhhhh family “!
Right now I have 31 tobacco’s opened that I’ve been smoking on a regular basis. I need to finish some before opening more!!!

For now everything is stored in boxes under my desk in the basement but I'm going to have to find another spot to store all of it since I can't control my TAD and keep adding more and more.

Most of it is in a lrge golfing duffle bag that belonged to my FIL, which I keep in the outside patio closet. I am getting a wine cooler with a glass door, about waist high that one of the guys at the cigar shop is trading me for. I will keep it down at the garage /man cave, and likely try to fill it up with pipe tobacco.

Shelves of 2 closets are full. Lots of tins atop my vinyl lp collection in a cabinet. Spillover is 7 flats of jars and 21 recycled OTC tubs in the living room. I am surrounded by Pipes and Tobacco and being a bachelor, I can characterize it as decoration.

I'm trading him $30 worth of cigars as I have a gift card, so no money involved. He says the way to do it is fill it full, and don't turn on the refrigeration section, but put a big Boveda humidifier pack in there. Makes for a nice glass door, sealed humidor.

Seeing James' tobacco closet got me to thinking if someone had a small home, taking some sheetrock out, framing between the studs of an interior wall, and hanging a sliding barn door, would be a nifty approach to a really neat way to access your tobacco's and pipe stuff. I haul hardware regularly to Tractor supply store for Spectrum brands, of which National Hardware is a subsidiary. That might be an option I pursue, when the inevitable downsize takes place. www.natman.com/company/product-innovations/interior-sliding-door-hardware

Well, it seems that I may well have the smallest 'cellar' here: but it's mine and I like it. A small 2 shelf Red Cabinet with glass doors (just like the one pictured bellow). Top shelf is just about packed full with tins of tobacco, bottom shelf is just about packed full of jars of tobacco. And I keep the smaller jars of my current blends I am smoking (8 half pint jars and 10 pint jars) in a desk drawer. I fear that I will exceed the capacity of my Little Red Tobacco Cellar sometime later this year. I hope Santa brings me setup like Dino's! Stocked of course.

"Man Cave" he says.. Sounds like you've got your own amusement park!
