I know, it states cigars only but word on the street is the code, SUNOUT25, will also work on a cart loaded with pipe tobacco. Risky business - Your call?

Hell yes it's risky business. But thanks for sharing. Hopefully some folks get to take advantage of this.

Yes it works on pipe tobacco too! P&C has always been good to me. Only had one issue where a packer did a terrible job and they replaced it all.

Living on the wild side. Hope you don't get an email that says there was an inventory error during shipment.

I was awfully tempted to give this offer a go. I've been looking at trying some cigarillos or mini cigars the past few days, and thought this might be a good way to get a small sample. Ultimately I'm not sure if I want to really go down that road at the moment, though...

I just placed an order. Got the free shipping and the 25% off. The order went through so assuming it works.

I had a cart loaded and was about to check out. Something hit me when I seen the price and compared it to orders I made a few months ago. Same blends, same quantity, different price.
With this 25% off deal I was only saving 8-12% from prices 3 months ago.
Still a deal I suppose, just not the deal I was looking for. I backed out.

It depends on what you're looking for. Plum Pudding Special Reserve for instance, P&C sells it for $30 where as TP has it for $25.
But other things are a steal at P&C right now. Cult Blood Red Moon for example is on sale for at P&C for $7.25. With the 25% off code added in it then gets knocked down to $5.44 Both TP and SP sell it retail for $9.25

I'll always jump on a sale. I picked up the following for 77 total with free shipping: 1 x Fusilier's Ration 1.75 Ounce Tin 2 x Magnum Opus 1.75 Ounce Tin 2 x SPC Mississippi River 2 Ounce Tin 4 x Cult Embassy 1.75 Ounce Tin 1 x Orlik Golden Sliced 3.5 Ounce Tin
The way I see it, I paid $7.70 for each item, and that ain't too bad.
I got the confirmation email and just received the shipment email. I took a shower after, so I don't feel as dirty...lol

Unfortunately, this is a tactic this retailer has been known to use in the past. There are still some deals to be found as McWiggins points out below. But, a buyer has to be careful with this site. It's good to know the "real" regular prices of items before buying. It depends on what you're looking for. Plum Pudding Special Reserve for instance, P&C sells it for $30 where as TP has it for $25. They are on sale AND still qualify for the 25% discount. Some of those blends are among my favorites and can be had for around $5 a tin right now....excellent price for some excellent blends.

Living on the wild side. Hope you don't get an email that says there was an inventory error during shipment. When one has purchased items on backorder with P&C, once the merchandise is back in stock, it will be sent to you. Any issues with the discount are on P&C, who I believe will honor the price. If for some reason they do not, canceling the order is well within one's rights and abilities.

Thanks for posting this, @10furlongs. The code worked and prices seemed good for the items I purchased. I bought some C&D Old Joe Krantz and several cigars I've wanted to try.

Agree, plus tobacco prices have gone up in the past 3 months. Buy now, save plenty later!!

I have enough tobacco to burn a wet mule but have some GL Pease Telegraph Hill and Union Square on the way. It's not partying like 1999 but as close as we've been for a while.
I don't have a clue if it was intended, my best guess is probably not? It was somewhat like a brush fire. It started with a spark and ended as a significant sale, one of the best in some time.
Great for forum members who scored and damn good on P&C for honoring orders.

...and a self-storage facility to put it all? Living room closet. I was commenting to my wife earlier this evening, how I just love the aroma the exudes from my little "Tobacco hutch" in the dining room. I open the doors, and I'm met with goodness for the nose. I cannot imagine how opening your living room closet is.

Thanks! I had planned to cellar all of this other than the cavendish that I use in certain custom blends but today I tried a recent experiment I've had planned for a while and it ended up being better than expected. So that pound of Sutliff 515 RC-1 will be undergoing a change.

Cased with Crown Royal Black and left to dry for a bit. Pressed, rubbed out and then topped with a light amount of Crown Royal Black again and left to sit for a while in a jar.
