Just finished smoking year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. It's cold and sleet is falling. Wasn't expecting that. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

Relaxing after a tasty cheddar cheese, beef and noodles lunch, and am now smoking year 2015 HU Directors Cut in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. A bottle of Bubble Up soda is my drink.

First pipe of the day SPC Mississippi River SR in a Castello Old Antiquari 1/2 bent billiard. Peet's coffee at my side. My first time smoking this tobacco. Tin says Virginia, Latakia, Oriental and Perique. But strangely I don't know what I'm tasting. It's very smooth and rich, though. Because I couldn't figure out the flavors, I went to Tobacco Reviews and the first one to pop up was, lo and behold, Jiminks review. Wonderful review as all of Jiminks are. My inability to discern individual flavors tells me that it iso well blended and merged in the press that the flavors have blended together for me. I actually like that. Jiminks has a much better sense of taste than I do. But this blend is really growing on me.

Now smoking some Sutliff 206 Honey in the Savinelli Punto Oro Classic 804ks large canadian. This tastes like real honey, which is rare in my experience of sampling purported honey blends, few as they are.

Ken sent me some Sutliff Honey and I actually liked it. Very strange because other than in tea, I hate honey.
Had a bowl of PS Luxury Twist Flake on my way home in my Stanwell Royal Rouge 260

This is fascinating to me! When I read what guys on the cigar forum are smoking I can relate. Here, I am just observing and every once in a while saying "hey, I have that tobacco" or "hey, I've seen that pipe".
What is it called when pipe smokers get together to smoke? With cigars it's called a Herf.

Relaxing after a wonderful parmesan linguine and crab dinner with a banana split for dessert. About a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2016 Stonehaven in a 1998 smooth medium bend Peterson Limerick 69 with a nickel band and a black vulcanite tapered p-lip stem. Have enough left for a bowl or so.
Not sure which I envy more- your pipe collection or the some of the meals you post!
Dieting sucks. At this point, I'd trade any pipe on the rack for a plate of pasta and a banana split. haha

Back from getting a haircut, and am now smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Bjarne pot with a couple small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.

Breaking out a new tin of Molto Dolce. Not usually an aromatic kind of guy, but I like this one. Needs some drying time. Might put it in the Soren Freehand... we'll see. Usual libations. Sun has appeared here by the bay.
