...strange day... woke up too early, was awake for several hours, returned to bed due to the peripheral neuropathy... no sleep, just being still (not looking for sympathy here, just talking)... so, I'm up now, feeling better, and having a bowl of old Stonehaven in the JB ( Cramptholomew) Devil Anse/Cutty/Stack. Cool water... enjoyed watching the Hatfields and McCoys last night, all three episodes... quite the cautionary tale...

I recently received a tin of GL Pease Stratford. It's listed as a Va/Per. I was expecting something more like Dunhill's Elizabethan. But no, it isn't. It's OK. But I'm a little underwhelmed. It certainly doesn't stack up well against let's say Orlik Golden Sliced for example. Any one else had this reaction?

Last night I smoked Peter Stokkebe luxury bullseye flakes in a 2012 Peterson Christmas Pipe. Bought the pipe back in 2013 and last night was the first time I smoked it. Really nice. Cool night here in western PA and a good evening for a smoke on my back patio. With Tito’s Vodka and diet seven up as my beverage.

There were things I liked and a couple of pet peeves I usually have about super-hero movies that annoy me. I thought it dragged a tad in spots a minute or so longer than was necessary. That often happens with movies these days. I went in not knowing anything about it other than the Avengers would fight Thanos, but guessed most of what was going to happen. I'd say more, but I don't to spoil anything for anybody.
