Missouri Meerschaum's 150th Anniversary is just around the corner, friends! In just 2 weeks, we will be having tours, music, food and fun! Our tours will be on both April 12th and 13th, from 9am-2pm, every 20 minutes for those aged 10 years and older. We value everyone's safety so remember, this building was built in 1883 and is not handicap accessible. We want everyone to have fun safely! After 2pm on Saturday, April 13th, we will be wrapping up the tours and moseying up to the Farmer's Market to continue the festivities there with: live. local music from 2pm-10pm, Yard Games, Iron Spike Train Museum, local food & drink vendors, and more! Stop by to help us celebrate 150 years of corn cob pipe perfection! Remember to reserve a place to stay early, spots fill up fast at our beautiful B&B's close by. Call or email with any questions or concerns, we're always happy to hear from you! ~ Your friends at Missouri Meerschaum Co.

Celebratory sale? I can honestly state their long sleeve shirts make great jammie tops through winter months.

If I was within an easy drive, I would be all over this, it sounds like a great event to take the grandkids also.

I was told they made 70. I bought those 3 and the last St. Patty's Day Cobbler they had. $24.99 per, I took a Benjamin along for my spending money and came away happy.
I love the Charles Town Cobblers. I have 6 of those including 2 neked they made me as a special order a while back. So even though I like the 150th Corndogs - I smoked a few bowls through one already and it's a great smoker - I have to say that St. Patty's is my favorite, it's got the same bowl and nice acrylic - forever like - stem.
The story on the CD's I got was they brought in a special woodcarver because of the difficulty in making them. This has been the biggest obstacle in bringing them back and not so much the special cobs they need for them - although that does play into it as well.
Anyone interested in one can check the MM web site although they won't show up there for a while. I doubt the 70 they had today will make it through the weekend but who knows??
There's also the 2nd 150th celebration they have planned for October. I "suspect" we'll see another variation of the Corndog then.

I would buy one of those! I did buy one! I also bought a Dagner Poker! Currently sitting across the street from Missouri Meerschaum at the Streetside Taco joint with my wife. What a neat tour! They had/have a huge crowd... more than they expected. Full report with pictures (if I can figure that out) after we get home.
