The first raffle is over...it was a tremendous success...the final total is $790.00 and, you the Patchers have done it! Paddy has done the drawing on video, with his daughter doing the actual drawing of the number via SIRI a random number generator. You can watch the number draw via the link provided...
THE WINNER IS...
PLEASE, will the winner pm me your full name and address which I will pm to those who have donated their wares for the raffle. Paddy, because he is not CONUS could not enter the contest...and because he has the impeccable credentials that he has, was the obvious choice for handling the drawing of the number. This to me is phenomenal...you guys have made a huge difference. I know our leader and MASTER of the Universe...well, of the Patch...I know he has to be proud of what you have done. The BEST is still to come...the second raffle which will be held in July will headline our own Cramptholomew and one of his creations...in addition to the other things that will be part of the raffle, tins of tobacco, custom cobs and custom tampers...and more...we are going to be shooting for $1,000.00...and you can do it, because there are no finer folks than those of the Briar Patch! Please contact Josh, Roadsdiverged when the time comes to start the second raffle...in the mean time, you can rejoice in what you have done...let Sparks know how much we appreciate him and what he has created...The Briar Patch

A big thank you...for those of you who bought raffle tickets...to those of you who put up donations for the raffle. We couldn't do this without everyone's help...Paddy with the drawing, his little girl doing the drawing
...everything turned out just fine...made me really proud of to be a member of this outstanding group of people. We showed Sparks that in spite of our occasional screwup...we are still one large family.
