Has anyone ever seen one? What do you remember about it?
The US Navy says they're real now. So we're not all crackpots anymore for talking about it.
Pilots for years talked about gremlins in the sky, and so forth. Going back as far as WW1.
I remember one night in the late 80s I saw something zig zag in the sky over North Carolina. I remember going home thinking there's no way that's any regular plane. Its way too fast. At the time, I thought it was a Soviet spy plane, and I still think it was, to this day. I felt guilty for not reporting it, in a sense. But I was worried that they would think I'm some looney, and believe it or not, I didn't want to bring attention to myself. I remembered the time in 1984 when I reported a downed power-line. They wanted all MY DETAILS just for being a concerned citizen - name, date of birth, you name it. The cop was basically questioning me over the phone, and it made me feel uncomfortable.
Has anything like this ever happened to you?

I've seen all kinds of weird stuff in the sky that I couldnt explain. Never any definite figures of objects, but lights moving in ways that they should not. Most of the things I've seen were while in north west Michigan while camping. A few down here in Georgia, but not like up there where there was no light pollution. I also watch Ancient Aliens every Friday night. Nice Avatar

1982 on a cloud night I saw 3 points of light in a perfect triangle way the hell up there. The 3 points were far enough away to make me think it was 3 planes in formation. points of light were no bigger then stars. As it glided along it went 90 degree direction with no change in formation. No clue what the hell that was. It was in CT. Labor Day weekend on the north shores of Lake Erie. Sun was setting and off in the distance was a bright orange light. I thought it might have been Mars but it started to come closer going from south to north. I got my binoculars out and it was way up there. Saw three beams of light coming off the front and 4 engines in the back. No noise and very high altitude. Configuration was nothing I have ever seen. Some new military plane I guess. In Topsail, NC you often see dancing red balls of light over the ocean. Vacationers think it is UFO's but it is just the Navy pilots doing training runs and you are seeing the tail end of the plane over the horizon.

There a negative force never doing mankind any good. Most religions leave open the possibility that God could have created life on other planets. I'd hope that they are basically good, but prone to evil, as we are.

This cylinder seal, VA-243 in the Berlin Near Eastern Museum, shows the sun in the center (!), surrounded by eleven orbiting bodies that include the Moon, Pluto and the yet to be recognized Planet X -- Nibiru. UFOs? Yes, I've seen them, in the literal sense of seeing things in the sky I could not identify. UFOs in the little green men in a spacecraft sense? I don't personally think so, though that's just my opinion. Two stories come to mind: 1. A buddy and I, in our early 20s, fishing one night on the dark bank of the Illinois river, in the middle of farmland nowhere. "Fishing" in the sense of throwing a couple lines in the water, then lighting a fire in the sand and settling in to drinking beer . (We did occasionally catch a hell of a big channel cat though.) It's a humid summer night, kinda misty, visibility maybe 6 miles. All of a sudden, a flickering glittering green light illuminates the whole sky, so bright the far bank of the (mile wide) river is visible. Lasts a few seconds, fades out. It was funny... we looked at each other with wide eyes, each cracked another beer... and never talked about it. Few years later, I've got the evening news on. "And now, we've got rare video of an air burst meteor over the southwest suburbs...". Video rolls of kids playing street hockey on a warm humid summer night, and suddenly there's that same damn weird green flickering light. I was reaching for the phone to call my buddy when it rang. He was watching the news too. "Dude! I know what we saw!" No kidding, it was the first time we ever talked about it! 2. I'm at work (airline pilot) about 10 years ago, at cruise in the mid 30s, over west Texas. All of a sudden, a bright steady light appears traveling in the opposite direction, above us. WELL above us. Way too high to be an aircraft, a civilian one anyway. I've never seen a satellite pass like that either. Other aircraft on frequency start discussing it; the center controller is taking the reports but he has nothing on radar. Still no explanation for that one. Realistically, there's almost no doubt that there is advanced life elsewhere in the universe. It's statistically almost impossible that we are the only intelligent species to ever evolve in the entire universe. Whether they're close enough to travel here, or whether that would even be worthwhile though.. that's a different question.

Ok, 3rd story because of Unknown's avatar. I'm helping two friends bartend a wedding reception. I don't have a tender's license, so I'm the gopher, running in the back to get a new keg or case of wine etc. There's this guy my friends eventually have to cut off. It's awesome. He starts the night out being a very professional looking man with neat, dark hair. Every time he comes back to the bar for another drink, he's a little more disheveled. Shirt a little more untucked, hair a little crazier, eyebrows a little more wily. By the end, he looks like the Ancient Aliens guy after a protracted bender. We still talk about that guy. He was fantastic.

Like Josh, I've seen lights in the sky that seem to defy the laws of physics...just moving so unnaturally.

Here in northern New Mexico I have seen things in the sky which defy what I know about flight and are downright weird.
I suspect that what we see is most likely experimental aircraft of our own making.
The distances between stars is so vast as to make visits a practical impossibility. I don't believe in wormholes or inter-dimensional doorways. I doubt anyone travels faster than light speed.
The potential for differences between intelligent civilizations so enormous, why would they bother coming here?
While I would like to keep open to possibilities, it seems far fetched and fanciful we have visits by beings.

They would have to have a really advance form of propulsion to travel the vast distances in space.I doubt that's the case.

Kinda crazy to think that the Sumerians could get that much information on our solar system back in 5000-4500 BC. Who knows maybe they had telescopes back then...

I've seen lights in the sky that I couldn't explain, both in South Africa and in England.
As much as I wish they were,in cannot rationally believe in Extra Terestrial visitors. I just feel privileged to observe the phenomenon.
On a more philosophical note, we should remember Clarke's Third and Fourth laws!

I believe in UFO's but, not little green men from anywhere, unless there Irish. I'm sure Governments have plenty of little secrets about what sort of aircraft there busy making and testing and it only stands to reason if flown someone somewhere will see it. Visitations from other planets, don't make me laugh. Visitations from the heavens, Positive and Negative sides? Yes but, not how you think of it.

Some years back I was driving through the middle of New Mexico and saw something. I'm still not sure what I saw.
Just about a mile or so off of the highway in a particularly lonesome stretch of road was something I can only describe as looking "like a flying jelly fish". It was oblong shaped and had several long dangling "streamers" hanging underneath.
At the distance I was from it, I would guess it was hovering maybe only a few hundred feet off the ground and rather large. It had a strange glow to it. I don't know if it was the sun reflecting off of it or if it had it's own light source. There was nothing or no one else out there. And it was in the middle of a clear day. It also looked like it was bobbing up and down some. But, I am not so sure if it was actually moving or just appeared to move from that distance.
I've seen weather balloons in person and in photos. But, none ever looked like what I saw that day. Still, I try to believe that's what it was.

It's a good guess, but nope, it was different in a way I'm not sure how to describe. It didn't have that same steady cold light and smooth even movement. I mean it was going in a straight line, but still... just different from a satellite. Speaking of that, if anyone likes satellite spotting, there's a great free app called heavens-above. It's fun to know where and when to look for the ISS and other things, makes you a hero with the kids . I have wondered how many people see a bright satellite or iridium flare and decide they've seen aliens...

I have also seen what appear to be stars, but moving in ways that could not be stars, aircraft or satellite. Moving very fast through the sky and making 90 degree turns then quickly speeding off and disappearing. I have a theory that it is us from the future. Not another species. More of a space time travel situation. Dunno it’s a theory! I’m sure we have all had the moment when we asked ourselves, if we could go back to any time period, what would it be? If that was possible what happens when you interfere with that time in such a way as to alter the future? Maybe that’s why the world is going the way it is. And maybe the anti tobacco nuts have come back to alter the future state of smoking! 😳

I live at the southern end of the the San Luis Valley. This extends for about 130 miles from northern NM into southern CO. It is a high valley, mean altitude around 7,500 feet. Long and area of weird happenings and UFO sightings, there is a more or less official UFO spotting station about in the middle, Hooper, Colorado, population 100 or so.
It is more of a terrestrial tourist attraction like Roswell.
