My theories: Several pairing of character are meant to have only one of them survive. Here are the most likely to be separated by death next episode:
Jaime Lannister and Brienne of Tarth: My pick to survive is Brienne... so Jaime will most likely die in her arms.
Missandei and Grey Worm: My pick is Missandei... sorry Grey Worm. You are one of my favorite characters.
Sansa Stark and Theon Greyjoy: My pick is Sansa...Theon will probably die doing something heroic.
Daenerys and John Snow: My pick is John Snow...this will probably shock every Game of Thrones fan but is most likely the only way that John Snow will finally be accepted as Aegon Targaryen rightful heir to the Throne.

Who I wish would die - the writers for making us watch 2 episodes of filler. Who I think will die - among others that Lord of Light preaching, one eyed, fire sword guy. I thin it will be after killing some of the horse mounted leaders.

The only game of thrones I ever watched when was my aunt Betty got a case of ripe bananas to make banana bread with, and my two brothers ate them all before she could make banana bread with them...That was an old house with only one throne.
I think they both thought they were near death, though.

My son and I have been debating about who will survive in the end. So many unexpected killings in this series that you really don't know. Everything from they all die so Democracy can be born (too starry eyed for this series) to Sarse will rule over all cause everyone else is dead. I don't think that will happen either. My son just read the new book by JRR Martin about the period when the dragons ruled. I won't give anything away from that, but it offers a hint at an altogether different and dark scenario. I think that's what's keeping all of us watching at this point, just finding out who's left and who rules.

Never seen it.
I guess it has to be streamed off Netflix or such.
They lost me when I heard there were dragons. I draw the line at dragons.

Tosh, the dragons are important to the story, but are not featured all that much. I had the same misgivings about the show originally. I gave it a watch and was hooked. Excellent drama.

I've loved the whole series. The first two episodes this season tied the many threads together. Loved them.

I've only seen the first season. I have the other seasons, of those which are available on DVD, ready to go for a GOT marathon one week. I already told the GF that I will send her on vacation for a week somewhere (she's not a fan).

I will take you at your word. Dragons, eh? It is always something... So, I ordered the first season on DVD from Netflix just so I can see what this is up. This means delaying my reruns of "Gomer Pyle".

That bad, eh? Does not sound promising when the audience is rooting for the dragon. It’s actually a great fantasy series...winner of many awards. Great acting and dialogue especially the first 6 seasons. The last 2 season have been dedicated to finding the best way to end this whole story. If you like medieval settings, weapons, beautiful landscapes, and cool costumes then you will enjoy this series. Just like people that enjoy riding roller coasters the end of the roller coaster may not be their favorite part but the ride was Awesome!

That bad, eh? Does not sound promising when the audience is rooting for the dragon. The show is pretty good, nevertheless, the only satisfying conclusion is everyone dies.
See also: Seinfeld.

I meant that as a joke. Gomer was not my favorite show back then. I kind of figured that. Now Andy Griffith, that is a classic.
