Some locations are better than others I like the ones in the small towns that are independently owned they always make the best burgers. Yeah, I'm a sucker for a mushroom / swiss burger. Used to get them from DQ, but now they've discontinued them. So I get the chicken basket with toast and white gravy. Adapt and overcome Hardee’s has the 1/3 pounder mushroom swiss burger on their menu. Also Carl’s Jr. you’ll find in your travels. What ever you do....where ever it may be.....always be safe👌👍👍

When I was on the road for work I ate the Steakfinger Basket with the toast and gravy. Quite filling and easier to eat while driving. Important because once I got to the data center I might not get a chance to eat for 12 hours or more. Their Gutbuster hamburgers are still good too. The locals you meet in the country places are great. "Colorful". That is what we call them here, those "interesting" locals. What we see in Texas are a lot of little league and soccer teams, farm and ranch families, etc. I suspect that the Espanola crowd is different to say the least.

I find that Whataburger, at least in this town, has the best FF burgers to be had. Never tried the lunches at DQ...only the softserve...which was always great!

I take care of three DQ's and will get lunch at two of them, usually the bacon cheeseburger combo. The other one I wouldn't let a stray dog eat there.
We had a Hardee's and I loved their double bacon cheeseburgers. Next time I'm down south I'll have to get one.

Where is Dairy King? Not to mention my ham sandwich?😁 I think your ham sandwich got entangled with a Chipotle Burrito and went into the black hole under the green patch of grass in the back yard. 😎😉🤠 Dairy Jean King won the match and became the Queen!

Down in Cagun land, now this is my humble opinion, DQ here is regarded as ice Creme territory, now let me sprain to you. We have so many small local food joints that are superb, they bang out lunches that make me bovae, that’s Cajun for spittle running down your face. Seafood any way you like it, hey the Gulf is within spitting distance. South side bakery for homemade burgers, rice dressing poboys, Beststop in Scott, finest boudin ever, just to name a few places, we are blessed with fine food, that’s why DQ here to me is just an ice cream place.

You know how some of those bean counters are ! Back then the only DQ we had made good burgers so that's what I'd get! Those Brazier Burgers are very good, but it's getting hard to find a DQ that still makes them.

old cajun is just lucky...he is living in the land of fine food...and he worked his butt off to be there and enjoy all the good stuff that comes from being cajun....between the best in sea food and the best boudin...what else could a man or woman ask for.

I had lunch at one of mine the last two days because I was working nearby. I had the bacon cheeseburger platter yesterday and the chickenstrip basket today. It's funny when I went in they looked at me and first question is, What's broke? This happens a lot when I stop for lunch at any of my customers.

I miss TCBY and their White Chocolate Mousse. I used to have them do one of their "blizzard" variants, in a quart container with wet walnuts. Man was that good.

I dont think I've had Frozen Yogurt since the TCBY here closed. That's been at least 15 years ago.
Talking about frozen yogurt in a DQ thread is heresy
