A couple of those sound pretty good … any release dates? Nothing specific, only the month of June. I'm also not sure how much was made either.

Amphora Burley will surely find it's way securely into my pipe.

Cool. I think I'm gonna check out the Richmond show this year. I'm a few hours away, but it's doable. The double pressed Kentucky sounds great, too

From P&C’s site about double pressing:

I think this is also funny, since McWiggins has been double pressing stuff for several months now. He did Luxury Twist Flake and a couple more, I think. It's interesting what pressing does to Latakia. McWiggins did his first plug out of Presbyterian, which is really light in the Latakia, you'd think. After pressing, it was HEAVILY scented with Latakia, and very smooth. I've heard a couple more reports of this happening with lighter Latakia blends.

It's well known that some folks experience an "edge" or "sharpness" due to differences in pH tolerance.

I never experience that bite of Virginia sting as "sharp". Sharp is a flavor description, like sharp cheddar.

I hear you … I don't get any of that sensation myself but know others that do.
Guess I was going off of this definition:
- producing a sudden, piercing physical sensation or effect. - "I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my back"

People describe things in all sorts of ways. It may not be how you would describe it but others might. Working in IT I would get to a computer and be blown away at how others would describe thier issue as it would be far from how I would describe it. I have heard Russ Ouellette use the word "sharp" in descriptions and even when talking about tongue bite. With that said, looks like that double pressed virginia is gonna be a hot item once available for sale.

I saw the prototypes at CI when I went to sign the agreement to sell the trademarks to them. They looked and smelled amazing. I'm happy to see Russ getting back in the game. Those new blends will do well based on what I saw in March.

I take sharp as: www.outwesttobacco.com/Cool_Smoke.htmNot necessarily, a negative...but tastes are subjective, a piquant flavor can be agreeable to some, bite from hell to others...I ascribe to the notion of people having different Ph levels...couple that with the subjective nature of taste, I can understand the "sharpness" of a taste that others may not understand or relate to.
