Many of you here know that I've been on a bit of a pipe journey over the last 2 1/2 years. Back when I started really getting into pipes and tobacco I just had my one pipe and one pouch of tobacco...  Since then I've chronicled things here from time to time. Back before the TAPS show in April one of my dear friends and fellow Patchers reached out to me and shared that he was thinning his cellar and asked if I'd like to help him out. Without missing a beat I replied "Absolutely". Friday before the show I met Mike and... Holy Cow...  Mike showed up with 7 boxes stuffed full of tinned and jarred delights. It's been a really busy time since then and the incendiary delectables have been sitting on the floor of my mancave virtually untouched. This afternoon I decided to at least unpack em and get em all on shelves...      I obviously haven't organized em at all, let alone inventory them. So, hopefully before the Summer's over I'll get that all done and get em incorporated with the rest of my accumulation...     Thanks Mike. |

Superb cellar Dino, I think your set for life. But knowing you for as long as I do I’m pretty sure if you find a bargain on more tobacco’s it’s more that will be added for your future. You’ll never lose money on whatever tobacco’s you purchase. Enjoy and HAPPY HUNTING 👌👍👍

Then your next assignment is in San Diego and you are on the Torrey Pines website. I thought I was there too...then the Sansepolcro was released.... Who knows what will take place tomorrow.  |

Yeah...I think you probably have enough...to start your own B&M, to sell wholesale to P&C, to own a small island for you and your family after the sale of some of that.
I could go on but you got the picture.

Looks more like a good start (a Le Mans started compared to my red light, normal intersection start, to be truthful) rather than an end.
Tobacco and pipes are like guns, knives, motorcycles, and, nope, going to stop there before I get in trouble with the wife, let us just say the desire for more will assert itself.

Certain tinned tobacco’s with 5 plus years of aging you'll break close to even. On your bulk “ jarred “ tobacco’s they can be sold privately or left to fellow pipe smokers. |

GREAT CELLAR Dino! I wanted to say that (on Jim’s recommendation), I would jar the Director’s Cut. Jim said the time aren’t stale after “a few years”. I have like 8 tins in the cellar,that I have yet to jar, but on JimInks advice, will do soon. Suggest you do the same,brother.... |
