I have always liked this show, rarely ever seem to have the time to watch it....whether hosted by Charles Kuralt, Charles Osgood, Bill Geist, or now Jane Pauley...the show is well done. The show today centered around Florence Italy, interesting hearing about the beginnings of Gepetto, Sting's really nice summer home, author of "under the Tuscan sun"...The arts, food and culture. www.cbsnews.com/video/topics/sunday-morning/The TV goes off immediately after it is over, cause the networks collectively go to political hell.

Agreed. We Tivo it and watch it every week. The news after is a paid political announcement.

CBS spends a lot of money on that program and is shows. I often watch the Monday through Saturday version. On Sunday, I am stuck on the news shows: Fareed Zakaria, Mike Wallace, Meet the Press.

I used to watch the morning news shows but everything from subtle dishonesty, to blatant lies, and taking advantage of the ignorance of many to promote false narratives is just too much.
Tim Russert was the last honest guy standing.
CBS Sunday is so far removed from all of that nonsense from what I see, hope that never changes.

I really enjoyed watching this show back when Charles Kuralt was the host, but haven't seen it since. I've nothing against the subsequent hosts, just don't seem to be watching TV when it's on anymore.

Wife and I decided over 10 years ago...spending that $100.00 for crap that was either reruns or something neither of us had an interest in...so we ditched it...She has hulu, zulu, crulu...I don't know what all, but she has movies whenever she wants...I have the internet and news from a dozen sources...they all lie for one reason or another I just have to sift through it all to know I am getting screwed in some form or other.
Patch and PSD is pretty much my entertainment.

Use to watch the show fairly often, especially when Charles Kuralt was host. I also enjoyed his show “ on the road again “, he has a very peaceful and tranquil voice. May he Rest In Peace.

I feel like I'm missing out. It's a Sunday Morning news magazine programam that has human interest stories, in-depth interviews, etc. A lot of what connects us as Americans and almost no politics. And a moment of nature at the end. It's been on so long that it's a tradition. You would probably find it very interesting. It touches the real USA more than anything else on TV. Edit You can watch episodes here. www.cbsnews.com/sunday-morning/
